Excellent mount for Sony camera

I bought this for my Sony Action Camera before a recent trip to the caribbean. The Action Camera takes great video topside of the water but it really needs extra light below the water to really catch the colors of what you're seeing. That being said though the mount I attached directly to my head band on my goggles and I didn't even know it was there. It worked great and if you want to use your camera under the water then this is definitely the mount to have if you want to easily mount on your head and keep your hands free.

Great memory card

Overall, this card is great. I love that it has such a large capacity but what I like even more is that I can record in full HD with no issues on my action camera. There is a difference in write speeds so you certainly don't want to get one that is too slow or you will have issues with the camera writing to the card and not being able to keep up and the quality deteriorating or just having to wait too long for the memory card to catch up in for example an SLR camera or such. I highly recommend these cards for fast write speeds if needed.

Do yourself a favor and make sure you get at least 2 extra batteries so that you will have 3 total if you plan to use one of the Action Cameras like I did. I definitely needed the two batteries and I can see if I used the camera a bit more would have needed the third. They last around an hour or so if memory serves me right. Depends on how warm the day is etc and if you're doing recording or playback etc....

If you have a camera that uses a battery be sure to get extra batteries and charge them with this charger. It charges them fairly rapidly. Sony also makes a portable one for the car but I have an inverter so I use this in the car as well as in the house.

I wish I had purchased the 64GB version so I would have less cards to carry around with the camera but it works flawlessly and is more than fast enough for Full HD recording as I could not tell a difference between this and the Pro version that I had for recording.

I purchased less than a month ago shortly before a trip I wanted to use this in my car while on the track. Overall it worked awesome and I was quite pleased. Everyone else in my group had GoPro cameras and everyone of them said that this Sony outdid the video quality of their cameras. The video is crystal clear. If you want proof, just look at comparisons between the GoPro and the Sony on youtube. That's what I did and I am very pleased with my purchase. I will likely purchase another at some point. You can't go wrong with this camera. Best out there in my opinion. It's Sony and they are a big name in video so it shouldn't come as a surprise that once GoPro became popular they would come out with their own that is much better. Don't fret over me only giving it 4 stars. I would have given 4.5 if there would have been an option as I rarely give 5 stars to anything.

how long is the battery life and is it rechargeable? Does the adapter for charging come with the product?
For me, the battery seems to last about 1-2 hours recording in HD mode with the GPS on. I usually have the wi-fi turned off as I don't need that option but I would imagine that would cut down on time if you ran it with everything on. I have 3 batteries that I rotate when I use this and that has worked well for me. I've only need the third battery a couple times, but I was glad I had it instead of relying on two.

can you scuba dive with it?
So long as you purchase the waterproof case for it (not the one that comes with it) you can dive with it. I intend on using mine in the Caribbean this fall and can't wait.
