Great use if you dont want to have a contract. I bought this for my daughters to have in the even they needed to get a hold of my while i was at work. It works great. A bit pricey for the purpose but considering there is no contract. I would say it was worth it.

Enjoy freedom from wires with this HP wireless keyboard and mouse kit. The keyboard includes five multimedia and three volume controls plus a number pad for data entry, providing full functionality. This HP wireless keyboard and mouse kit is compatible with any notebook or computer that has a USB port for optimal versatility.
I have a wireless HP keyboard and mouse and recently the mouse stopped holding a charge with fresh batteries and the keyboard is acting strange as well. I have replaced all the batteries and they work fine for about a day then issues resurface.
What type of batteries are you using? I found out from experience, the cheaper batteries like Rayovac, will only last a few hours. if you are using better quality batteries such as Duracel or Energizer, then it must be the keyboard and mouse itself. then i would take it back to Best Buy and exchange it. Also look at different type of batteries, i was told that regular one's will not last as long in some equipment such as AA2 which or those type. check with one of the reps as they are honest and are not working on commission. Yes that is what i did, i have verizon and used this phone from best buy to replace my old verizon phone, and the insurance through best buy is better in my opinion.

yes, that was the main reason i purchased it. have not had any issues so far. hooked up directly to my wife and runs great.
