Season 6 of Parks and Recreation finds Leslie Knope (Amy Poehler) forced to make the toughest, most-unpopular decision of her political career: merging Pawnee with its hated rival town of Eagleton. The blowback from this choice causes Leslie to be removed from her position as city councilwoman, leaving her rudderless and unsure about her future. The show also deals with another major shake-up this year, as longtime cast members Rob Lowe and Rashida Jones depart halfway through (their characters move to another town to raise their new baby). Meanwhile, Ron Swanson (Nick Offerman) prepares for the birth of his own child; Ben Wyatt (Adam Scott) tries out several different jobs; Andy Dwyer (Chris Pratt) takes on a special assignment in London; and Tom Haverford (Aziz Ansari) opens a restaurant.
The fifth season of Parks and Recreation finds the newly elected City Councilwoman Leslie Knope (Amy Poehler) getting a crash course in politics as she attempts to make progress in saving a local mini-golf course and updating Pawnee's hopelessly antiquated laws. Her personal life is equally chaotic; in addition to the general havoc that follows Leslie and her friends, she is also trying to plan her wedding to Ben (Adam Scott).
The fourth season of Parks and Recreation finds the perennially perky Leslie Knope (four-time Primetime Emmy® Award nominee Amy Poehler) determined to make a place for herself among the City Council. Her campaign, however, is fraught with complications ranging from duplicitous journalists, to a former flame, and the competition from her wealthy opponent (Paul Rudd.
