This is the most expensive amiibo ever made and it's also by far the coolest looking. The legs are fully adjustable rubber (it can even stand on them!) and the rest of the body is hard plastic. The pink neon details even glow under black light.
It also gives really helpful items in the game Breath of the Wild. It's a hard amiibo to get ahold of but it really is very cool.

This game is a few years old now, so the price has gone down considerably. It was worth the full original MSRP, so there's never been a better time to pick it up. Back when this game came out, my girlfriend and I used to play together almost every evening while we were long-distance. It 's a chill and low pressure way to spend some time with friends, or by yourself to relax!
This game is more than appropriate for kids (been playing games from this series since I was 10) but it does require quite a bit of reading. At their own pace though! Would be a really fun bonding activity for a parent and child, as it's simple enough for non-techy parents to play. You will however, need your own console and copy of the game.
You don't need any amiibo to play this game, but they are compatible and do add something to the experience. You can unlock items and choose which animal villagers live in your town with the figures and cards associated with the Animal Crossing line. Again though, this game was out for years before amiibo came along, so they're fully optional!

Like most amiibo figures, this is well-made and looks great displayed on a shelf. But again, like most amiibo figures, there isn't much use for this in games. I appreciate that Nintendo doesn't typically lock really cool stuff behind these amiibo paywalls, but it would also be nice to have more reason to own these.
Get cool in-game extras with amiibo accessories and compatible games. Just tap an amiibo accessory to the NFC touchpoint on a compatible system to enjoy fun in-game extra features in compatible games on the Nintendo Switch system, New Nintendo 2DS XL system, New Nintendo 3DS XL system and Wii U console. Games, systems, and amiibo sold separately.

Good luck finding one of these, but this is a well made figure for use in select Nintendo games. In the game Breath of the Wild, this figure offers exclusive armor and a sword that you can't obtain otherwise.
It's a cool figure, and the armor looks pretty cool too, but don't go paying more than $20 for this. It's really not worth that much.

If you're buying this figure purely for use in games, I would skip it. Otherwise, if you just like Animal Crossing and want a well-made figure to display/collect, then go ahead and pick it up! It routinely goes on sale for as low as $4 too.
Ditch the contract with this prepaid Samsung Galaxy J3. It has a 5-inch HD Super AMOLED display for clear, crisp images, and its 8GB of internal storage lets you save music, photos and videos. This Samsung Galaxy J3 has an Easy Mode that lets you access favorite apps quickly through larger icons.

I didn't actually get to use the phone, so I can't attest to how it really is. I just wanted to leave a review so that if you're buying this because the Galaxy J3 is supposed to have NFC capabilities, just know that the Verizon version does not, for whatever reason.
I'm used to Apple devices and it's very confusing when phones have the same name but different specs depending on carrier. Really strange. Anyway, they should make that more apparent. It apparently does matter what carrier you go with.

I've been playing the Animal Crossing series since the first game came out here in 2001. New Leaf for the 3DS is an amazing installment in the series. It recently received a new update that adds amiibo functionality, so that you can use the Nintendo amiibo figures and cards to unlock things in the game. They are not at all required to play or do well at this game, however.
Animal Crossing is a successful, established game series that appeals to a wide audience. It's a game that you can take at your own pace, and it really isn't possible to "lose" and it's definitely not possible to "die." There's a lot of content that provides a lengthy amount of play time and it's absolutely worth the money. It is appropriate for all ages, though some reading ability is probably required to enjoy the game properly.
