Easy to setup, although you must follow the automatic protocol to start, then you can manually tweak the settings. Volume seems to be limited in comparison with my old unit, but it is sufficient for daily use. It allows for a lot of preset channels--that's a plus. Reception is good--able to pickup many channels at a great distance.

I'm looking for a unit that draws air from the back and has dry air discharges on "BOTH SIDES". Does this unit fit this description? Is this unit draw air in from the front and how is the dry air discharged ? My old unit: Gold Star DH40.....
It discharges air out of one side only, appears to draw air from the back as the front is solid.

Can you turn up the volume with your phone?
Yes, in fact the instructions state that the volume on your phone needs to be at least half way up. I found that if the volume on phone is not turned up you don't get any volume out of the speaker. So turn up the phone volume and then adjust the speaker volume to your likings.

I just purchased this speaker. I have it running on Bluetooth through my iPhone 6s with Spotify. About 3 times during every song it makes a beep and the song cuts out for a second then goes right back to playing. Any help is appreciated!

How do I get the "cap" off the FD?
There is no 'cap', just a slide mechanism. Hold the drive by the sides near the square end in the left hand and with the right hand grip the short rounded end and push it toward the left hand to expose the connection.
