NETGEAR CM1000 - Amazing Speed!

I had been using a Cisco modem with a TP-Link Archer C7 router for quite a few years, then decided to run some speed tests on it. They were good, and I was happy with the performance. However, saw there were some new modems out there, and maybe I could squeeze more speed out of one of those - if it wasn't better I'd return the new one and continue with what I had.
Well, this Netgear is like a device out of Star Trek - it's heads, tails, and a mountain faster than the old Cisco I had. It wasn't cheap, but I'd buy it again in a second, and have recommended it to all my colleagues. I don't have any super-high-speed plan, but once I hooked this modem up and ran Speedtest, I was getting approximately 575 mbits/sec sustained downloads! Uploads weren't much different, but no one expects them to be. The key to satisfaction for me is download speed, and I couldn't be more satisfied with this modem. It looks nice, doesn't give me any problems with Xfinity - IT JUST WORKS AND WORKS FAST! I'd recommend this unit to anyone who wants to make their Internet work fly! Besides that, I no longer pay a rental fee for the modem - BONUS!!!

This case has a nice feel to it, not slippery and easy to =fall from your hand, but rather kind of "dry" and is easy and comfortable to hold without slipping. Also has some nice features, including a flap that covers the power input jack - great for keeping moisture and dirt out of the charging port. Overall a great buy, and have suggested to others to consider one of these cases.

I use multiple UPS units to keep the power going continuously on certain devices in my house. This unit was specifically purchased to power some smaller "not so wattage hogging" devices, and the price was right as well as the size and specifications. Purchased it, plugged everything in, and it all worked. I'd like to say the experience was amazing or something, but I know what I need and how it should work, and it worked (and continues to work) perfectly. While l also have larger units for more powerful equipment, this smaller unit fit in quite nicely for multiple battery chargers etc. Overall highly recommended and a great price.

While I'm a parent and this type of device/game doesn't really appeal to me, I do see the great enjoyment the kids have while playing it. It keeps their interest and there are also many "competitions" coming out of the play that keep things friendly and competitive at the same time. Overall, I hear more laughter and friendly competition than I do fighting and complaining - and that's what's important to me and the kids. So overall I would say this is something that most parents would want to buy for their kids.

It's a Mac - What else can I say?

This Mac was purchased to replace another Mac that we bought from Best Buy several years ago, the one with the built-in CD drive. The previous Mac as well as the new one were both for our daughter who attends college. We knew by the quality and ruggedness of previous Macs that a new Mac would be just the same, so we purchased it. Both my wife and I have several Macs each and also appreciate the quality products Apple produces. As was to be expected, her new Mac worked perfectly right out of the box, and she has had no problems, no glitches, and no disappointments at all. Even though Macs are in a much higher price bracket, we understand that quality and ease of use are paramount, especially for a working college student. This Mac, as well as all the others we have purchased, have lived up to their legacy. Great except for one thing...

Overall this is a great replacement for my previous Samsung laser. It prints much faster and quieter, and also the print quality is more consistent. The only issue is that it goes into "sleep" mode after a period of non-use, which is not a bad thing. However, I can't find a way to turn this feature off - and some of my devices can't wake it from sleep - so sometimes it has difficulty printing from those devices. Overall - 4 out of 5 stars.

Overall, it's an OK case, but I really expected much more. After all, it is a "premium wood" "black Walnut" case. And that is true to a point. The black Walnut is on the back of the case, but the "protection" part of the case - that which wraps around the phone, is unfortunately very thin and unprotective plastic. Wouldn't feel comfortable using this case as protection for my phone.
