I bought this Bluray because I was looking for something new to watch, and had heard about this show and it seemed like something I might enjoy, which I very much did!
It's definitely a product of the success of shows like Game of Thrones, but it charts it's own course and is in no way a copy. I'm a fan of historical fiction, so this is something that definitely fits right in that category. Looking forward to season 2!

This show is just awesome, in so many wonderful ways. If you're a fan of the books, the show breathes life into the pages that you're familiar with, but also adds new and exciting elements to keep you on your toes. And if you've never read the books, then all the shocking twists and surprises are just that much more fun to see unfold and enjoy!
With each season this show just keeps on getting better and better!
