In 1997, a major war between the United States and the Soviet Union is concluding, and the entire island of Manhattan has been converted into a giant maximum security prison. When Air Force One is hijacked and crashes into the island, the president (Donald Pleasence) is taken hostage by a group of inmates. Snake Plissken (Kurt Russell), a former Special Forces soldier turned criminal, is recruited to retrieve the president in exchange for his own freedom.
At Adams College, the jocks rule the school from their house on high, the Alpha Beta fraternity. So when a group of socially-challenged misfits try to go Greek, they're instantly rejected by every house on campus. Deciding to start their own fraternity to protect their outcast brothers, the campus nerds soon find themselves in a battle royale as the Alpha Betas try to crush their new rivals.
Unable to gain acceptance at the snootier fraternities they pledge, the Deltas, a a motley crew of misfits and sociopaths bent on disrupting the well-starched status quo, engage in various illegalities that land them in hot water with both the stern college dean and the neighboring jock fraternity. Their exploits eventually cause them to be placed on double-secret probation, until finally, they are kicked out of school and, as the dean reminds them, newly eligible for the Vietnam draft.
After Sidney (Wesley Snipes) and his family are burgled, he goes to Billy (Woody Harrelson) asking him to participate in another cash-earning basketball game against two legends of the Los Angeles basketball scene, Eddie "The King" Faroo & Duck Johnson (Louis Price & Freeman Williams). Billy runs this by Gloria (Rosie Perez), who had just gotten back together with him and gave him some of her Jeopardy! winnings to buy some new clothes and look for a job, and tells him that if he uses his winnings to enter this match, she will leave him. Billy, though he loves her, sides with Sidney to repay his debt to him. The duo enters the game against Faroo & Johnson, and after a tough game Sidney and Billy emerge victorious, Billy securing the win by making a slam dunk.
Young Sarah is left home alone by her parents and she has to babysit her little brother Toby. But the baby keeps crying and Sarah, while telling him a story to make him sleep, inadvertently conjures from a fantasy world the Goblin King who steals the child and brings him to his castle in the middle of a labyrinth.
The fact that extended versions are being advertised as unrated isn't anything new anymore. The fact that the Extended Version of Underworld is called so is quite confusing because no material that would have deserved this label has been added and the MPAA most probably would have given it the R-Rating as well. The additional shooting scenes do not exceed the overall degree of violence in the movie.

Set in a distant time in China, the movie tells the story of Master Li Mu Bai (Yun-Fat Chow), an accomplished swordsman and martial artist. His sword, the Green Destiny, is renowned for its grace and superiority in a fight. However, Mu Bai wishes to leave the ways of the warrior behind him and asks his friend, Yu Shu Lien (Michelle Yeoh) to take the sword and present it as a gift to their friend, Sir Te (Sihung Lung). Mu Bai explains that the sword holds too many memories of the past and he wishes to retire in peace. Shu Lien is a skilled warrior like Mu Bai and harbors feelings for him which he reciprocates, but does not act on due to the fact that Shu Lien was widowed by Mu Bai's best friend.
