I purchased the IPad Mini 2 for my son. As a student it's the right size to carry to school and watch YouTube videos. He is also able to check in on his school work and look at his online textbooks with ease. He is able to utilize it in class as a kindle reader and for looking up quick information and at home got apps, movies, and other entertainment. It is the perfect size for him.

Can i buy a protection plan for my iPad 2 that I received for Christmas, that was purchased there?
I don't believe you can purchase the protection plan on the iPad you received during Chistmas. I believe they allow you the first 30 days after your purchase and then the protection plan is no longer available. You should check with BestBuy to verify this information.
