I bought this for my kids because I remember watching this movie as a kid myself every time it aired on t.v., but even after watching it so many times, I couldn't remember anything about it. After watching it again decades later with my kids, I gotta say I remember why I loved, & still love this movie. My kids & I absolutely loved all the comedy & adventure, & I liked that it also came with the "Goonies r good enough" music video as a bonus. I had forgotten all about that Cindy Lauper song, so it was nice to hear it again. If you're looking for a fun family movie then Goonies is a great one at a great price. For those who haven't seen this movie, it's about a group of kids who get their hands on a treasure map & go on an adventure to find the treasure & save their home.

I wasn't sure about spending so much money on movies I've never watched, but now I'm very happy with my purchase. Don't get me wrong, they're not all five star films but most are, & the ones that aren't are still fun to watch. If you're looking for fun action then this will do the job. If you're looking for deep thought provoking films, look elsewhere. The packaging kinda sucks though because the blu Ray discs are hard to take out, so be careful. Great gift for ANY true Bond fan.

I was so excited to see this movie in 3D because I had already seen it on regular 2D at my sisters house & wanted to get the REAL experience at my house. What a disappointment. The 3D is almost non existent, like one of the ghost that Norman talks to. I actually like the movie & I'm a big fan of the animation so that's why my score is so high. But don't waste extra money on the 3D version, you'll be happier with the regular Blu Ray.

I wasn't very interested to watch this at the theaters but when I saw that it was only $10 on Blu ray 3D, I knew I had to give it view. Maybe it was cause my expectations were so low, but I was very pleasantly surprised with the story & animation. Dreamworks really seems to use 3D very well on all their animated films & this one is just as good. Very fun for kids & adults.

My kids love Mickey

I bought this for my 2 kids & they absolutely loved it. We watched it together as a family on one of our movie nights & decided to make it a Mickey marathon with "Mickeys Christmas carol" and some Mickey shorts. This review score is only average because I'm not giving it what my kids would give it, I'm scoring it what I thought it deserved. I personally like the older Disney animation better, but if you like the newer stuff then I highly recommend this.

Not a great Darren Aronofsky movie

I'm a huge fan of mr. Aronofsky but this one was a let down. Maybe i was just too eager to watch it and built it up too much in my head, but I found myself bored and unimpressed with the special effects.
