There are basically 2 popular options, HR Block and Turbotax. HR Block is much less expensive, so I go with that, as they both work well, but I'll go with this one and save some money. And the actual program is much more comprehensive than the free options, which are quite limited.

Although it's more expensive to add a DVD/cd drive instead of it being a part of the laptop, I'm willing to go with this for 2 reasons.
1. The laptop ends up with less bulk and weight without it, and it's not really used as much as in the past anyway.
2. Instead of the fragile slide out tray, with this type of unit one just inserts the DVD or cd into the slot. Less to easily break. To me, this is the more important feature of this drive.

ZAGG Glass rocks! Especially if you drop your device on them! But, it also is very smooth, so much so, that there are far fewer fingerprints on the screen. The only downside might be it reflects more, but that's not a big deal.
