This is the second LifeProof case I have purchased. If there was another choice I would give it a try. On the good side both cases have been waterproof this is the primary reason I purchased the case. The iPad 2 case had a screen cover which doubled as a stand, this version does not have that feature. They are expensive and have limited protection for drops and the screens are fully exposed. My first case for an iPad 2 had a warranty issue, after much back and forth nothing was resolved. The case for the iPad Air 2 appears to be a better design. Hope it is.

The thinnest iPad ever is also the most capable. It's loaded with advanced technologies, including the Touch ID fingerprint sensor.

BUT, the iPad Air 2 I am using to write this review is my third iPad, this is the second iPAd air 2. The first one was troublesome out of the box and after few days I returned it. I had my first iPad 2 for three years without any issues at all. Best Buy customer service staff were very helpful in getting this resolved. Other than wasting several hours with the non functional first device the new one is working well. There are hundreds of descriptions of how it functions. Better by far than the iPad 2 and well worth the price. Could still benefit from a more effective battery.

Light, nimble, compact, balanced are words that come to mind. I have used the lens for nature, architectural, sports and general family pictures. The same for the movie mode. The photo quality more than meets my needs. Others are much better equipped to give the reader technical measurements and criticism than me. The lens meets my needs completely. Coupled with an A6000 I was able to take full telephoto movies and pictures of a lacrosse game at an outdoor stadium; slightly before sunset to after sunset and stadium light with full resolution and natural consistent color. The automatic settings did nothing odd with the ISO setting. The players were not blurred the ball was blurred slightly. Useful effective lens.

As a hobby photographer over 65 who has taken pictures with good quality cameras since the early 60s, the A6000 is well worth the investment. Picture and movie quality as advertised. It can be as easy to use as a point and shoot. It can also give the user the control necessary to take "artsie" or difficult pictures. I have been especially impressed with the low light capability, steady shot when taking movies and light weight.
The initial shock over the size of the online or downloadable owners manual initially set me back. The automatic functions are so good it gave me time to Take pictures and movies before looking into the specific functions as they became useful. I purchased a Friedman guide book and it helped with some additional functions and explored fine tuning and the "why" behind certain choices.
This is a camera to pick up, shoot what you want, and fuss very little if at all. It is also significantly lighter than my previous DSLR and lenses.
