funny how the weight changes with the colour, the red are definitely heavier than the black so the black became the fave right away, sound quality is top notch, my only complaint is that the ear cups are a bit on the small side they hurt after a bit, I've stopped using other headphones I've purchased for this very reason

Great sound but one must wonder how long will it last in the hands of your young child. After a couple weeks of use, the cord wouldn't extend and eventually broke after numerous attempts. Good thing we paid for the protection plan. Getting an exchange was inconvenient since we were required to go into the store which I avoid due to poor staffing which means long waits for assistance. The first employee wouldn't even look for the item. He simply said, "The system says we only have four left in stock and that item been removed from the sales floor." My four year old's response to this was, "Oh no, that's bad news." and shook her head in disappointment. broke my heart seeing this because she loves these "cuuuuuuute" headphones. To which a second employee responded, "Oh no. It's not bad news. I'm going to find them for you." She took the time to go look and saved the day.

I expected to be blown away especially with the way people rave about beats. My Bose earbuds sound much better. I won't be wearing them for long periods because the fit is snug they're a bit on the heavy side. The cushions hurt my ears.

My first MacBook and I'm not won over

I've always had Windows laptop and desktop PCs. I like the freedom to customize at will. I already own iPods, iPhones and iPads so I finally decdeid why not get this new sleek piece of hardware that rivaled the Surface 3. I was on the fence about both until I went to the store and played with the MacBook a bit. It's super light, the screen is absolutely amazing even at its dimmest, and the kybd feels great. The lack of ports is a turnoff especially once you realize the $70 cable isn't included in the steep $1500 price tag but I've honestly only used it a few times so far to transfer media from my Windows laptop to the Mac.
Issues so far: (1) if I have too may apps open at once I get the rainbow wheel of death and have to force quit each app one by one then restart, (2) mail app won't sync, it's totally useless. I called apple tech support and spent over an hour on the phone and via chat and they said to restart it in safe mode which works only briefly.
I expected to be this 8gb ram MacBook able to run multiple apps with no issues like with my 4gb ram Windows PC. The processor makes all the difference.
It's basically an iPad with a keyboard and no touchscreen.
