This screen works well with my Epson 5030ub projector. I think the white surface works well in a dark room, but the blacks aren't as deep as on my Samsung 67" LED, but close. I think a slightly darker screen material would give a better compromise, but that's one of the unique problems in using a projector as a replacement for a flat screen tv. The picture definitely improves in the evening, as the ambient light decreases. This is my first projector and screen. The screen is absolutely a good 'bang for the buck' since you can pay more for a high end screen than for the projector itself (my Epson was $2000 on sale). I think the screen is well made, with the black backing material. The black trim around the screen makes it look like a wall-mounted flat screen. I would purchase the projector, and the screen again.

I have only had the projector for two weeks, but it is as nice as my research led me to believe. The picture is equal to my 67" Samsung LED. I'm using a $100 80" screen, with some ambient light in the room. Even in the ECO mode, the picture looks very nice. The only thing that stops me from giving 5 stars, is the black levels aren't as black as my Samsung. My screen is white, not grey or black, so that may be the cause, along with the ambient light. In the future, I may go with a higher-end screen, designed for a brighter room. Also, after I've had more time in with the projector, I would definitely add one more star.
