I really like this album. It's rockin' and catchy and just another great weezer cd. I highly recommend this cd for weezer fans, even those that may haven't liked a few of the recent ones.

I've really enjoyed Dev's recent albums. This is another solid effort. It's really 2 cd's so is a lot to take in at once. The ziltoid disc is weird and fun. The first disc is decent, but maybe not as good as other recent efforts. I need to listen to them more as it may grow on me even more. If you are a fan, I would say purchase this and enjoy.

cool double cd concept album

I really like these alpha/omega cd's. Nothing really jumped out at me at first but I just wanted to keep listening to them everyday. Periphery has turned into one of my favorite "recent" bands and I look forward to their releases. I recommend these cd's. Give them multiple listens and just let the songs seep into your subconscious. Maybe not everyone loves the proggier route periphery has been on, but I think it's great. Check them out.

not as good as the old stuff, but not bad

I've read a lot of bad reviews about this cd and I understand why some people are upset. It's not as rockin' as the older sword cd's, but it's not as bad as everyone says. Do I like it as much as previous albums? No, but there's still some good tunes on it. If you're looking for the old sound you should pass on this album, but if you don't mind a tamer hard rock sound you'll probably find something to like on the album.
