Broken Panel

The panel stopped functioning after about 3 weeks of use. The unit still cools but the panel won't let us change any settings. Very disappointing. This is a brand I trust and then this happens. Frigidaire says I can still return it to Best Buy within the year warranty but what a pain to de-install, get to store, re-install. Very upset about this.

I do not think this unit comes with the accordion style sides, please advise what to purchase to fill the gap between the unit and the window.

Yes it has accordion style side panels, and insulating panels that slip into grooves also.
