This case is good for storing and protecting your pencil. The slot to rest the pencil in is also nice, but the rest of the case just takes up room when not being used to store the pencil. As an afterthought, I would have preferred to buy just a rest for the pencil, and get a case that had a pencil holder instead.

The blade on this shaves very smoothly and doesn't catch hair or skin. It's really nice. As someone who shaves a lot, it has been a godsend.
As for using it to trim your hair, it may not be as good. Even while using the largest guard with the shortest setting, I found that it it still somehow cut my hair fairly short.
If you're looking for a good razor to shave your face or body with, this one is great!
