I live in the country with no internet offered. I also love in a metal building and had no cell phone service inside my home. I no longer have to go outside to use my cell phone. I have no issues using my phone for Internet and I can use my phone as a hot spot.

I have a metal roof and cannot connect to verizon phone will this help?

I have verizon and live in the country with a metal roof. I am loosing calls will the we boost help?

I have no issues with my cell phone service inside my metal home since purchasing this.

do I need an internet connection for this item to work?

No you don't. I do not have Internet at my home. Only on my cell phone.

I live in a total metal building and had no cell or Internet service inside. Now I have no issues with either one.
