Terrible scheduling. Great install

The installers missed the install window three times. Finally installed. The installation looks great. Just disappointed in the lack of communication and terrible scheduling. Bestbuy was good about making me happy in the end and will try to fix the communication issues so it doesn't happen again.

Lack of communication

The actual installation was a difficult one as it was a tight fit which required a lot of extra work. But the installers did a good job. My main complaint is the scheduling and lack of communication. The installers didn't come out in the scheduled windows for 2 days in a row. They missed the scheduled windows by many hours. So we had to reschedule for a third day. They missed that window by 7 hours too but we were home this time so they finished. The lack of communication was really terrible and inconvenient. In the end, we're happy with how it was installed, just not the process and scheduling. Bestbuy did work with us to make us happy in the end.

Somewhat disappointed

I had Bestbuy come out to premeasure for the oven install. We knew it would require a platform to raise the oven since the new oven was smaller than the original oven. The installer came out totally unprepared for the job. He barely had the tools to do the job properly. In fact, another installer had to come out a week later to finish the job. Once it was done, the installation looked great. Just disappointed in the lack of communication between Bestbuy and the installer.

This cooktop is very unique in that it has an array of induction magnets so you can place pans anywhere on the cooktop. Regular induction cooktops require you to place the pans in set locations. Overall, it works well. The user interface is excellent. You can move a pan around, and it will transfer the settings. The only complaints are that it's pricey, it has large borders where you can't place pans, and sometimes the heating seems uneven. But overall, it seems to be an excellent cooktop. Hopefully, it will be reliable over time.

The Jenn-Air convection oven with speed oven combo is our second purchase (we had a similar model in our last house). We were so impressed with the first one, my wife insisted on buying this one again. This model has several improvements over our older model like an better user interface, web access, and fully articulating sliding rack. The oven cooks very evenly, and we absolutely love the convenience of the speed oven. The only negative is the lack of a probe in the speed oven for roasting meats (the bottom oven does have a probe, which works well). Overall, an excellent oven.

Great receiver with a few cons

Overall, the Marantz SR7010 receiver is excellent. It supports most of the latest features (4K, HDR, Atmos, etc), and it works remarkable well with my LG OLED TV. The CEC support is nice in that the TV remote can control most receiver functions flawlessly. The sound is first rate as would be expected in this class of receiver. One issue that I've encountered is that ApplePlay support is buggy at best, as it constantly disconnects. I also had a few issues with dolby digital falling back to stereo mode using ARC, but I think this is more of an issue with the TV than the receiver. Other than those issues, I've been quite pleased with this receiver.
