John Hancock's heartwarming holiday film Prancer comes to DVD with a widescreen anamorphic transfer that preserves the original theatrical aspect ratio of 1.85:1. A closed-captioned English soundtrack is rendered in Dolby Digital Stereo, while a French soundtrack has been recorded in Dolby Digital Mono. Spanish and French subtitles are accessible. Supplemental materials include the original theatrical trailer. This is a fine release from MGM/UA that should satisfy anyone on the lookout for family friendly fare.

An English soundtrack is rendered in Dolby Digital 5.1, while a French soundtrack has been recorded in Dolby Digital Surround. Spanish subtitles are accessible. Supplemental materials are limited to a theatrical trailer. Although the disc offers a good picture and very good sound, the lack of extras and the high-end list price make it difficult to recommend.

I watched this movie a few times when I was younger and always loved it. Finally found it again on DVD and it's still awesome! Seriously one of the funniest movies I've seen. You won't regret it, and at this price it's an even better buy!
