did not work with my new Netgear Nighthawk ac 1900 router. I tried setting it up via the "readyCloud" but it was never detected online. Geeksquad spent an hour going through my network, verified it was running correctly and visible locally, just would not show up over the internet. Returned it for a MyCloud device, to better suit my needs. I still would recommend this to someone that is looking for a portable hard drive.

MyPassport would not connect to the "readyCloud" however so I am giving this only 4 stars. If you have a feature it should work. Geeksquad could not get it to work either. Refered me to Netgear who would not even speak to me, sent me back to geeksquad who had me buy a cloud instead...
