I owned this for about a month before returning. I was really torn, because the video features are really nice! Plus, there are a lot of pro-grade elements on the camera - dual card slots, clean hdmi out, weather-proofing, etc. The dual-pixel autofocus system is amazing for doing live autofocus during filming, and the video image quality is very good. AND I was willing to give it the benefit of the doubt on still photo quality. I upgraded glass to Canon's L series lenses to see just what the camera was capable of. However, I had also tried those lenses on a Canon 6D full-frame camera, and that camera and lenses were amazing! I could NOT get those same results with the 7DMII. I could get good results with 7DMII, but not the amazing results that I get from 6D. Overall, I'd say this is a very good camera, especially for videographers, but if you're going to spend this much money, I'd recommend going with 6D instead.

This lens is on my camera about 75% of the time. It does so many things well - but I've been using especially for portraits. Very nice background blur, and razer sharp photos. It focuses very fast and accurate. Very expensive, but I will be getting my money's worth. This is my absolute favorite lens, and if I could only have one lens, this would be the one!

I've had my Canon 6D for just over a week now, and I really like this camera! Controls are intuitive (especially if you have owned Canon DSLRs before), picture quality is amazing, and great colors! I was worried about autofocus, but I can tell you this camera does NOT have a problem with focus. I mostly use the center point, but even the non-center-points have given me fast, accurate focus. I've even used this camera for some birds-in-flight photo's using 70-200 f/2.8L IS II, and even after cropping, got some very nice pictures. I'm using this camera mostly for portraits, but it seems to handle all assignments like a pro!
