This new router replaced a 10 year old router that kept resetting itself to factory settings. This makes the newer phones, tablets and computers connect faster using the extra bands. I still get some interferences from other routers so the speed can decrease, but overall it appears to be a good router. I would buy it again (hopefully I will not need to anytime soon). It does not get any warmer than my old router as some have indicated.
