This hose was a nice upgrade over the old original plastic hose. Very durable and easy to flex around. Looks great whenever I peek around the back of the unit to check things out. Sometimes I'll get up on the middle of the night to go peek behind the washer, and bask in the greatness of this hose (while my wife suffers cold and alone because she had married a man who left the warmth of the bed in the middle of the night to admire the new appliances)

The installation company was very friendly and explained everything they were doing during the entire process of installing my washer and dryer. Units were requested to be stacked, which they did quickly. Extremely Quiet & Cleans Perfectly

We have had this unit for about two weeks and used it several times. The 500 Series is an expensive dishwasher but it was worth every penny. First, it is unbelievably quiet, so much so that it has a red dot that it projects on the floor to let you know that it is running because you can stand right next to it and it is barely audible. If you have an old dishwasher from decades past, this will be like night and day. Our kitchen and dining room is open concept and very large with hard flooring, so any noises in the kitchen are amplified throughout the whole space; even in that setting this dishwasher is hard to hear.
Cleaning power is great for anything day-to-day usage that we've washed (we have not tried to clean baked-on gunk in this dishwasher yet). Everything comes out spotless, even clear glassware. On the first wash you may have some slight residue on your dishes. This residue does not appear in cycles after the first wash.
Regarding some reviews about leaving plastics wet after the drying cycle, this is much less of an issue than it's made out to be. Due to the nature of how stainless tub dishwashers dry your dishes (they have no heating element), plastics will tend to retain some moisture on them or water will pool where there are crevices. This is usually easily solved by propping open the door after the cycle is finished running so the vapor has no opportunity to condense, or if it does then it will condense onto the still hot stainless tub surround (which cools faster as it is metal). Even if you forget to prop open the door, plastics will still dry pretty well. And honestly given how little energy this dishwasher uses, I can live with some damp plastics. Another bonus is that since there is no heating element, you don't have to worry about plastics melting.
One thing you do have to do if you get a dishwasher like this: do not pre-rinse your dishes. Dishwashers and detergents today actually work better when there is a lot of junk to clean off (otherwise many detergents are too abrasive for just dishes). Obviously you should clean off large particles of food so that you don't clog up the filter too soon, but anything else leave on there, honestly. Once you get used to this, it is extremely convenient, since you will spend less time (and water!) pre-rinsing and overall less time on doing dishes in general.
A dishwasher is the best appliance you can invest in for your kitchen, especially if you have an older unit. It won't blast your dishes with tons of water and won't use energy on a heating element to dry them, and provide an overall better clean to boot.

Great Installation

The company hired to do the installation was on time and professional. Since this was a dishwasher install there was some water spilling expected when replacing the lines; the installers cleaned up any water and made sure everything was dry. Dishwasher was installed correctly and new lines were routed professionally and out of the way under the sink. Overall very pleased.
