Experience stunning pictures and vivid colors on this 65-inch LG OLED 4K smart TV with HDR. Since the pixels can be individually controlled, the blacks appear deeper and the colors more vibrant. This LG OLED 4K smart TV uses webOS 3.0 to let you easily connect to streaming services and mobile apps.
This is a fantastic display. I bought it to replace a 6 year old Plasma screen, as I wanted to upgrade to the new 4K HDR display, and IMHO OLED is the only technology on the market that does as good a job as plasma with real blacks, which means really good contrast. The picture is noticeably sharper than my old Plasma screen, to the point where with certain programs it almost looks 3D. (Note that this is NOT the 3D model). I use DishNetwork for regular TV, and I've noticed that certain channels and even within channels certain programs have a sharper picture than others. This is only a guess, but I attribute this to the quality of the signal supplied to DishNetwork. When viewing Blu-ray DVDs the picture is uniformly remarkable; vivid colors, great contrast, and an incredibly sharp picture. You really feel like it's real. The remote takes a little getting used to, and the menu structure can be a little confusing, but since once I had it set up to my liking I rarely use the remote this is not a big issue. Also, while not really a big deal, I was disappointed that the power cord is a little short, and wired into the unit. If, like me, you run all your cabling through the wall to hide them, you may be left with one cable showing. There is virtually no bezel around the screen. My old plasma unit was a 50 inch screen, and this 65 inch unit is only a few inches wider and virtually the same height. I've also noticed that there is much less glare on the screen from external light sources, like overhead lights. It's an expensive TV, but in spite of the few minor problems I mentioned above I'm VERY happy with it, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone who wants to a great picture.
