Great band for a great price! So comfy.

Posted by: Jre1025
I really love the stretch style bands for my watches. I have the 41mm Apple Watch and the color of the metal band connectors was spot on with my Starlight colored watch. The nylon was very comfortable and stretchy and I liked how it was easily adjustable as well.
I have used the magnetic, metal watch bands mostly and the silicone bands of course but never a nylon band. I really liked the fact that my arm never felt sweaty or sticky from a whole days wear. I will say in my profession, I constantly wash my hands throughout the day and found the band getting wet on occasions which was slightly annoying but after all, it’s fabric and was to be expected. Lol I just slid my watch a little higher up the wrist before washing them and problem solved.
Now for the one con about the band…the little loop that allows for the band to tighten down or loosen up. It definitely isn’t comfortable if, depending where you end up after adjustment, it sits on the side of your wrist. I only noticed this when I was typing on my keyboard. Is it a deal breaker for me? No, definitely not.
I think for the price point, it’s a band I’d buy again for the fact that it was mostly comfortable throughout the day and was simple yet stylish. I really like the looped look.

Nice clarity, easy install, blue light filter!
on October 31, 2023
Posted by: Jre1025
I’ve owned many iPhones and have place many screen protectors. Out of the package you have the XTR3 screen protector, a microfiber cloth, the dust removal sticker, cleaning wipe and the EZ apply tray.
As far as installation goes with the Zagg InvisibleShield XTR3, it was an absolute breeze with the included EZ apply tray. This screen protector laid down nicely, had minimal bubbles under it which were fairly easy to work out to the outer edge of my IPhone 15 Pro Max.
Clarity with this screen protector on is amazing! I work for an eye doctor and Zagg speaks about having a blue light filter built into this screen protector. That’s a huge plus for me and was definitely a selling point because everyone knows our phones are a huge focal point in our daily lives. Having blue light protection is a huge plus for the health of your eyes.
With the ez apply tray the screen protector is perfectly centered on the screen with just a hint of a lip on the edge. I don’t even notice the lip with my Zagg case on my phone. It’s a great combination so far.
Overall, I think for the price of this screen protector, there definitely should’ve been a back up protector. My phone dropped out of my hands onto my outdoor rug and there’s a small crack already in the protector. I did register it for the warranty as soon as I opened the box, so I’ll be requesting a replacement soon or may visit my local Best Buy to see if it can just be replaced in store. Not sure if it’s an option yet, but will definitely try.

Gas-like performance without all the drawbacks of gas. That’s what the Worx 40V Power Share 14” Cordless Chainsaw gives you. We’ve doubled the volts of our standard Power Share tools and made a chainsaw powered by two 20V batteries. Double the run time and upgraded performance but still with cordless convenience and without the smell or expense of gasoline. We’re able to achieve this on account of the saw’s high-efficiency brushless motor. It’s more durable and uses less battery than a motor based around a brush design. It spins the 0.043” gauge chain, with a 3/8” pitch, at 26ft/s. So you’ve got all the power you need to perform every regular chainsaw job. Cut 26” diameter logs on the ground or 13” diameter trees that are still standing, for instance. Auto-tensioning and auto-oiling systems keep the bar and chain running at peak performance throughout the entire life of this tool. And on-board battery charge indicators, and oil-tank markings, let you know when you’ll need to recharge or refill the oil. Plus, the quick-stop chain brake adds an extra level of safety to this saw, so you’ll know you can always shut it down at a moment’s notice.

Great and easy saw for us ladies!
on October 29, 2023
Posted by: Jre1025
So starting off with the Worx chainsaw I will say, we’ve always used Husqvarna gas chainsaws, so my expectations were low. I wanted an electric option for a few reasons but mainly for the ease of operation for me to use vs my husband, the weight of the chainsaw and the lower maintenance options since we didn’t have to worry about gas or carburetor issues.
Upon opening the box, I found the saw fully assembled with a blade cover as well as the two 2.0 Ah batteries and dual charger base and of course instruction manuals. In comparison to our Husqvarna saw, the Worx chainsaw was SO much lighter. Weighing in at about 10 pounds, I absolutely loved handling it.
Operation:
I finally feel like I can help when my husband is outside clearing our new property. To get me started with using it, we did have to go buy bar oil and grease which wasn’t included. My husband showed me how to use the tensioning knob to ensure the chain was tight upon use. Before using it each time, I always make sure that chain is tight. I can just push the trigger, and it cuts so easily. My absolute favorite part is how quiet this thing is and I don’t have a bunch of smoke from the engine and gas in my face. I used the saw to cut off the branches and to cut some of the trees we dropped that were approximately 10-14” in diameter. I really like how safe I feel when using it and as soon as I lift my finger from the trigger, that chain stops!
I’ve now used this chainsaw 6 times over this weekend and I feel like a lumber jack. LOL. Having two batteries allowed me to help my husband for a straight 4-5 hours. If one started to feel like it was weakening, I’d switch batteries and continue on. I probably could’ve cut longer but my back wouldn’t let me…not the chainsaws fault of course.
Overall, this saw is awesome and is a great bang for your buck. The price point I felt was very fair for what I received and the quality of the Worx chainsaw even in my husbands eyes, who doesn’t feel the electric options are great, was impressed. Ladies…if you want a great option for cutting with little to no stress with getting started each time, this is your chainsaw!

Great case, great protection!

Unboxing:
Out of the box, this case was so pretty. It’s a hard plastic with a transparent rainbow shimmer color to it. The case has a smooth backing on it that allows it to slide in/out of my pocket fairly easy.
Impression:
One of my biggest problems with my previous case was that it had a rubber kind of backing and it always had something stuck to it like lint after trying to shove it in my pocket. But since this case is smooth, nothing clings to it and even has a grip, ridged area on the edge of the case when you’re holding it, the phone feels secure in your hands. The buttons on the sides all push in very easy. That’s a huge plus because many cases that are plastic have buttons that are so hard to use, not with this Zagg case. The box tells me it has a drop rating of up to 13ft. While I’m not going to electively test that feature, I’m happy it has that rating because like many of you out there, I’ve dropped my phone a time or two, lol.
The MagSafe feature is great. It allows you to charge your phone or use in the car without having to take the case off. In previous cases I’ve had, MagSafe charging worked but it was never as strong as having a case with the actual MagSafe option made into it. I don’t have to worry about it sliding off the charger or holder now.

Great epilator, pain was minimal in small sections
on October 17, 2023
Posted by: Jre1025
Initial opening:
Upon opening the box of this Philips Epilator I found the unit itself, two attachments for different uses whether it was for sensitive areas or the optimal contact cap, a white travel bag and a charger. I like the fact it’s for wet or dry use. Huge game changer there. It has a little light that turns on with the power button that lights up the area that’s in use. The epilator had some charge upon arrival but I decided to charge just in case. It took a little over 2 hours to fully charge and it was time to begin.
Experience:
I was a little hesitant to try an epilator but figured why not? It’ll only hurt for a second. I have a few problem spots under my chin that I will tweeze 2x a week. The unit arrived just in time for my weekly tweezing. Pain wise, it felt as if I were tweezing, so very tolerable. instead of it taking 10-15 mins to get all the hairs, it took my less than 5 minutes AND my chin feels so smooth!! Moving on to my armpits. After reading the directions, it suggests using the delicate area attachment for this area. I decided to do it in the warm shower and I must say, totally worth it and while it did sting while using it, the pain it wasn’t unbearable.
Closing thoughts:
In comparison, I’d say using the unit in the warm shower vs using it in the dry mode was much better with less discomfort. I never had the nerve to go to speed 2, speed 1 was just fine for the two areas I’ve tested so far. In a few days, I’m moving to my legs and I’m excited to see how that goes. Overall, this is a great unit! Pain is beauty most say and I will tell you this once more…it hurts no more than a normal tweeze would. Much faster and long lasting results.

Durable, shock absorbing off-road fat-tires can take on any sort of bike path or trail you can think of. Great bike with a great price. Go get yourself one
on October 17, 2023
Posted by: Jre1025
This eBike is a lot of fun! Quite an amazing value at this price point. The compact and folding aspect is a welcome feature and makes it portable and great for throwing it in a truck bed or moderate car trunk.
After having been away from the biking scene for 20 years, this is this is a great way to transition back into recreational biking.
Initial Impression:
This item took quite some time to arrive. I have suspected that there were some supply chain issues that resulted in the long delivery time. Upon arrival, assembly was straight forward, however I could not find any assembly instructions. This should have thrown up a red flag, but kept trucking along with assembling. When the time came to add the battery into the frame, I realized that there was no battery or charger. Red flag number 2. After working with Best Buy support, it was determined that I had been sent an in-store display floor model. Which for what it is worth is fully functional with the exception being the motor, screen and headlight. The bike folds up and pedals just as a regular bike would. Fast forward to a little more than a week later and the actual bike arrived.
Set-up:
Assembly was straight forward. Granted I had the opportunity to do it once before, but it really simple and the bike comes mostly assembled. It would be much easier having an extra set of hands putting the wheels and tires on the bike. Also, someone to straddle the bike and hold it while attaching the fenders and other accessories.
One aspect that was a very nice attention to detail was surrounding these little plastic inserts that shipped in the brake calipers. A very nice touch -- that way the calipers were adjusted nicely and there was a proper gap for the caliper to go over the brake rotor.
Remember to check the tire pressure. Check the tire sidewall for recommended pressure. If memory serves 20 pounds per square inch sounds accurate.
The battery does take quite some time to charge. I let my first charge go over night, 8-9 hours, but I believe the manual notes 5.5 hours for a full charge to occur.
General Impression:
With this being a first experience on both an ebike and folding bike front, not sure I’d own anything else. The build quality is first rate. The welds are stacked dimes! The seat is super comfortable, despite not having much padding in the fanny. The seat height is adjustable and allows the bike to fit a variety of body types and dimensions. The fender/mud guard cover does a good job of keeping road grime to a minimum so that you do not end up wearing it.
The display is a good size and provides access to a good bit of information. Text is quite large and with a very bright backlight. Unfortunately, the backlight does not seem that it can be dimmed and it is too bright. It interferes with the headlight for not the most confidence when riding in low light/ night conditions. Almost ran into a golf cart.
The bike has an incredibly robust kick stand. It is very strong and supports the weight of the bike and rider (assuming the ground conditions are not soft). The handle bars are a bit narrow compared to most other bikes, but likely necessary to keep the bike compact and within good geometry for folding. They are comfortable and sturdy. The throttle is on the left hand side, which took a little adjusting to for someone familiar with motorcycles and 4 wheelers and their associated mechanics of operation.
There is a rear rack as well, which serves a practical purpose for attaching saddlebags, cooler etc. I have considered doing grocery runs on it to get some extra exercise.
The bike has a good bit of torque and took a little bit of time to get mastered. But once mastered it is quite pleasurable! The pedal assist is also quite a nice feature to help with climbing hills while keeping the battery range somewhat reasonable.
One thing that you will not find is turn signals, nor a brake light or rear marker light(s). Would be a nice feature/value add for future models and/or enhancements to this model. Bottom line that would be a welcomed safety feature.
Battery:
Nothing really to add here, however there are a few things that would be nice to see changed. One: The battery locks into the frame, which is a great security feature, however, if the key slot could be moved from the bottom side to the top or side, this would be a welcomed improvement. Two: the battery cannot be locked into the frame and set into the on position AND allow the the key to be removed. Would like to see if the key position could remain locked and on but not have to have the key present. Three: The key is quite large and likely larger than it really needs to be. Would love to see the size truncated to something that would not take up so much space on a key ring with other every day carry keys/items.
Final thoughts/considerations:
Such a tremendous value. I have had half a dozen friends or so, ride it and not a single one has come back without a huge grin on their face and then uttering “I have got to get me one of these!” This would be a perfect means of transportation for a college student living on or off campus, someone who does not want to own a vehicle and lives within the city limits, or someone with a moderately sized trunk and wants to go one adventures. The range has been surprising and can be extended even further by staying out of the throttle and using your human power and the pedal assist function. Be safe out there scouts, Safety Third!

Great little party speaker with some fun options.
on July 18, 2023
Posted by: Jre1025
Okay, so out of the box this thing was pretty impressive. It had simple instructions, easy to hookup to my iPhone via the LG XBOOM app and the speaker was about 70% charged out of the box. It comes with the charging cable also just incase yours isn’t that charged. Once downloading the app, I was able to access some fun features including custom party lighting and my favorite part, the options to write a custom phrase or to choose from one of the preloaded images to scroll through on the front of the speaker. It has a handle on the top that slides up and down to allow for easy mobility. The speakers weighs in just over 30 pounds so with the wheels and handle addition, that was very smart on LG’s part.
Sound quality I thought was great for such a smaller scaled speaker. It has the 8” subwoofer which gives a decent bass sound but over all with volume, the speaker never once cracked or sounded flawed. Nice and clear and definitely loud.
It has a rubber panel on the back of the speaker which covers the hookups for the charger cable, a usb device and has hookups for a mic and guitar. The rubber door helps protect the open ports of you have the speaker near water. It does have a waterproof rating of IPX4 so it can be splashed and survive but don’t you try to dump it in the water, that won’t end well, lol. You also have top control buttons which control the power, bass boost options, volume, party link and Bluetooth connection.
The party link I will say is awesome. My brother in law bought the same speaker and with a push of the button they connected and I was able to control them via the app. On the app it will allow you to use the party link mode as either a right and left speaker combined OR allows you to have them play the exact same music at a fair distance apart.
Overall, I’d say at the on sale price of $499 this is definitely a great purchase. The original pricing of $599 to me is a bit much but overall with the features is still justified for the price.

Great steam cleaner and love the steam option!
on June 20, 2023
Posted by: Jre1025
So out of the box I will say this steam cleaner was quite heavy to lift out but I guess what can you expect with an upright steam cleaner. Assembly was easy, snap the handle in and let’s get cleaning!! The actual cleaner itself is very “pretty” in my opinion. I just think it looks well built and seems very sturdy. We recently just bought a dachshund puppy and boy am I happy to have this cleaner.
It has a double tank design (a spot for the dirty water and a spot for the clean/solution water) which is nice. I’ve used it 3 times so far and I will say I like the sturdy feel of the container when having to empty it. The cleaner came with 2 different trial sized solutions and by far the Oxy urine solution was my favorite. My pup isn’t fully potty trained and scrubbing the carpets by hand just wasn’t cutting it. I was actually disgusted yet excited to see how dirty that water was when I was cleaning his “places of choice” to use the bathroom.
My favorite mode so far to use is the steam + max clean option. I truly believe the steam really does help break down the stains on the carpet. At first I just thought it was a gimmick to make this cleaner stand out from the rest but it actually helps! My bedroom carpet being almost white, looks fresh and fluffy again after using this mode. I will say, the carpets remained wet for a good 4 hours though with the steam+max clean option but was worth the end result. I tried using the Express clean option on my downstairs rugs and they cleaned up very nice. They only felt wet for about 40-45 mins I’d say which was very convenient.
My favorite option by far of this cleaner are the upholstery attachments. It has an 8ft hose on it which was awesome and made cleaning my couch so much easier. I have a cream colored sectional and while it took patience and time to clean it (the attachment is only about 6in. wide), I’m very happy with the result. My couch I’d say remained damp for just over an hour which honestly could’ve been user error as well because I was still getting use to the machine. The one drawback on the upholstery attachment or just with using the hose in general is there isn't a steam option. Not the end of the world but would’ve been a great option to have. Make sure to vacuum as best as you can because this thing will find everything and more even when you thought your rugs were “clean” of dirt and debris. The front of the cleaner comes off for easy access to the bristles though which is so convenient. I promise you, it’ll need cleaned after you’re done.
Overall, I’m happy with the steam cleaner. I’ve used the Bissel Little Green machine for years which does the job for small stains but this one makes carpet cleaning a much easier task!

Bye bye blow dryers and hair straighteners.
on May 14, 2023
Posted by: Jre1025
After owning only a few Dyson products, I was very excited to have been able to try out this Dyson Airstrait hair straightener. Out of the box I was very surprised on how bulky the cord was on the unit. Once plugging it in and seeing how powerful it was, I now understand the need for such a bulky power cord/power supply.
The hair straightener has a lock button which holds the straightener closed allowing it to be used as a blow dryer only if needed. It has a heat and cool air option as well as wet and dry option for straightening. It has the ability to go into 3 different heat modes to have essential a “low, medium, high” heat option. I have shoulder length hair cut in a bob style and the Dyson Airstrait I believe has become my new favorite hair tool.
My first test was with my hair wet. It took a few minutes to get the hang of using it and which direction it needed to be held so that it didn’t blow my air everywhere. One side of the straighter has air vents that air comes out when you close it rather fast. So if you are holding the Airstrait the wrong direction, the hair just blows everywhere. Lol. After figuring out how to hold it, this thing has been amazing. My hair was dried and straightened in one step vs having to blow dry first and then use a traditional straighter. With the way the air comes out of the straightener section, my hair was dry in record time. I love, love, love the fact that there aren’t hot plates on my hair anymore. My hair feels SO soft and silky after using it.
On day 2 hair, I was able to try it on dry hair. When I wake up each morning my short hair can have a few “flat, slept on” areas that I usually need to use a traditional flat iron on to smooth it back out. When using the Airstraight on it, I was able to have the same results but without the direct heated plates burning my hair. It was able to, with the help of my round brush, look like I just freshly washed, dried and straightened hair once again. I feel the results were still just as satisfactory dry as it was wet.
Overall, while carrying a very hefty price tag, I would say this unit is 100% worth it. Dyson definitely did a great job giving us the ability to toss our straighteners and blow dryers away by using this all in one Dyson Airstrait.

Great little printer!
on May 10, 2023
Posted by: Jre1025
This printer has been great so far. Out of the box, you have only a power cord, no usb cable or printer cable included. I plugged it in, immediately downloaded the HP smart app on my phone which helped me get it connected to my wifi network. A fun little surprise was the lights on the printer that changed colors. It has no functional purpose other than to “look neat” in my opinion. The printer easily installed via wifi on my desktop. It came with two cartridges, one black and one color. Setup was very easy. In about 7-8 minutes, I was printing from both my cell phone and from desktop within 15 minutes from opening the box.
The scanner has so far worked very well. I was able to scan a photo to make a copy and it printed very clear for being a copy. I used the HP smart app to help crop the scanned image to fit the printer paper I was using. The app is super user friendly which is always so helpful.
Printing speed has been impressive on the handful of photos and word documents that I’ve printed. It’s a little noisy while printing but when sticking it in “quiet mode” it seemed to reduce the motor noise slightly.
One feature I do absolutely love after having it on another HP printer is the HP instant ink subscription. This printer came with a free 6 month trial but even after the trial I will continue using this subscription. I will end up paying $3.99 a month for 50 pages each month. It works for me since I’m going to be using this as an only color based print option. They have higher print options for more money a month based on your usage. Included in that fee is instant ink replacement when the printer detects its running low. You receive an email stating your new cartridges have shipped and they arrive to your home or business within a few days. I won’t have to pay any more for the cartridges with this subscription! That alone makes this printer an amazing deal.
The only con so far for me is the very basic keypad. At first while setting it up, I found myself a little lost looking for indicator buttons. To be honest, yes I’ve been spoiled by my last HP printer which had a nice touchscreen with icons to use. This keypad area doesn’t have “buttons” persay, just lighted images when they are able to be used. The Wi-Fi indicator lights up a blue wifi symbol and when that went out I knew I had connection issues. Now that I’m familiar with the different keypad choices, I have no problems and am very happy with this unit.
I have it in my office to be used as an only color printing option and so far it’s been great. I think with it being a copier, scanner and printer you absolutely can’t go wrong with this purchase!

Your home needs a printer that’s fast, affordable, easy to use, and has great features. That’s why we developed the EcoTank ET-2850 – an innovative cartridge-free solution that uses high-capacity, easily refillable ink tanks. So you’ll worry less about running out of ink, and save a lot on replacement ink. The ET-2850 features outstanding print quality, auto-duplex printing, a high-resolution flatbed scanner, and convenient color display – making it the perfect family printer.

Is this printer able to do sublimation printing?

Indeed you can but if you plan to use this printer for sublimation DO NOT use the ink that comes with it. Be sure you install the sublimation ink from the very beginning. Of course doing so will void all warranties with Epson I believe, so keep that in mind!
