These Bose QuietComfort 20 headphones feature Acoustic Noise Cancelling and an in-line microphone and remote for taking phone calls. Listen to surrounding sounds with Aware mode or lose yourself in the music.
Good noise cancellation technology, and the sound quality is very good, UNTIL you compare these with the Audio-Technica Solid Bass CKS1100's. The bass and the clarity of these earphones are clearly subpar when compared to those earphones; I bought them at the same time to do an extensive comparison. Also, the noise cancellation can sometimes feel like they are sucking my brains out (the vacuuming? effect of the noise cancellation?). And I really do not like the blue accent on the cords (makes the overall beautiful design a little tad bit childish) or the cheap nylon pouch (the Audio-Technica's provided a more mature, minimalistic design with an all-black leather case).
Get a high-quality listening experience with these Audio-Technica Solid Bass in-ear headphones. The dual-bass venting system provides high-resolution audio reproduction, while the aluminum housing reduces unwanted vibration. The detachable cable has an in-line mic so you can answer calls and control music. These Audio-Technica Solid Bass in-ear headphones include silicone eartips in several sizes for a custom fit.
I bought these as well as the Bose Acoustic Noise Cancelling Earphones (for newest ones as of Nov. 2016), and although the Bose had the noise cancellation technology that these lacked, these go deeper into the ear and in effect cancels out more noise than the Bose when the Bose's noise cancellation is turned to off. HOWEVER, what truly surprised me is that, with or without the noise cancellation on, these really deliver solid bass like its naming conferred. And the clarity is awesome, too. They honestly sound way better than the Bose I bought to compare. Overall, very satisfied!
