not as innovative as I'd been led to expect

I heard a segment on NPR with Bruce Hornsby that featured him playing some innovative 20th or 21st century classical music. Instead I found what appears to be a number of concert excerpts, mostly sung, and not much new and exciting with little inclusion of his well known music. It got one play in the car and is not likely to come out again.

I watched this movie while on vacation. I was fully prepared to watch a few minutes and then do something else if it didn't grab me. I even watched the ending credits (in other words, it grabbed me). If you're not a Veronica Mars fan, you probably won't like this. If you are, you will be completely satisfied. If you don't know, give it a try -- you may find yourself binge watching the TV series when you're done.

The heroine of this story is a dream girl, but you won't think so at first. The guy is klutzy but with a good-heart. Every plot issue is resolved in a clever and enjoyable way. The voice actress (in English) for Uribe gives an unconventional but effective reading. I watched the last 5 episodes in one day (a record for me) and hope there is a sequel by the same production team.
