Not difficult, but the instructions weren't too clear. Pretty easy to figure it out. Once completed, it appears to be sturdy and looks great. It states, "Espresso", but it's more of a subtle cherry/mahogany blend, which is why I got it. It does look like it did in the picture so don't let the "Espresso" throw you off.

Fantastic picture. Appears to be the usual great quality from Sony. The online ordering went smoothly & the service was great from the Best Buy associates that helped load it in my vehicle. Since DirecTV is common now, I wish the input option for "TV" would default to that but it has to occupy the HDMI 1 spot. The apps could also be more customizable. Can't beat the sound or resolution. Definitely a great purchase.

Is this tv Directv ready
No. It works fine, but for full DirecTV quality, you need to plug it into a HDMI port. The "TV" input is for the usual cable port which could be used but would sacrifice some of the resolution. I hope this answers your question.
