Not the greatest romantic movie ever, but it stays true to life in that its not always a happily ever after. It has its moments and worth watching, even if only once.
I enjoy watching movies that don't have a lot of commercials, hype and buzz, putting them in and going along for the ride. Sometimes I'm surprised, and this one was no exception. Might not have been heavy on effects, just like the first, but an overall entertaining and interesting story. A good monster movie.
As a fan of the original ninja turtles from the 90's, it was enjoyable to watch this movie, with some more of the old characters introduced. Not a deep movie or great acting, a typical Michael Bay film. Enjoyed lots of action sequences but ultimately forgettable.
This collection of five films that captured the Best Picture statuette from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences includes The English Patient, Shakespeare in Love, No Country for Old Men, Chicago, and Crash.
A good but not great effort from Spielberg, it had some good acting but the story was, although interesting, fairly standard. It probably received oscar nominations mainly because of the Spielberg name and the fact it didn't have aliens.
An epic conclusion to the hobbit trilogy. Fans of the book or not, most anybody could enjoy going on the journey Peter Jackson has put on the screen for us.
This set brings together three new mysteries from the second season of Sherlock, the series that featured Benedict Cumberbatch as the enduringly popular private eye and Martin Freeman as his loyal sidekick Dr. Watson.
The movie starts out ok, but slightly irritating, its trying too hard to fit into the Jane Austen mold and the relationships feel forced, probably because they needed more time to develop characters. But the ending picks up and I enjoyed it fairly well overall.
The night at the museum movies are a lot of fun for kids and younger ones, but not as entertaining for adults as some of the other kids movies, like anything by Pixar.
