Great Streaming Device

I have one of these and two of the new $30 Roku devices. There's no comparison as far streaming speed, but then again, it is $100 more. This device streams fast and I never have issues with it locking up or freezing. The only issue I'm seeing is that I keep receiving a message every time turn it on...it says my display type has changed. It hasn't. I have a 1080P display and set my Roku up as such. Tried changing to 720P, but still receive that same message.

when it doesn't lock up and freeze, the device does a descent job at streaming video. However, at least twice a week, it does freeze and the only recourse to take is to unplug the device, then plug it back in. i have two of these, and it happens to both. Signal strength is always "Excellent", so I'm not sure what the issue could be...

Works best when used without a case

Best Buy sales associate put the screen protector on for me. Was told to not put the case on for at least 48 hrs to allow the protector to adhere. Theory was, the protector wouldn't come off where it came into contact with the case. I left the case off for 5 days, to make sure. During that time, the protector did great. The very day I put the case on the phone, the protector started to curl up and come off at the top of the phone, and at the bottom of the phone, it began to bubble.

Make sure to sit your phone on it just right

With our without the phone having a case, there is definitely a "Hotspot" for getting the pad to charge the phone. Then there's the problem of not charging the phone to 100%. Put the phone on making sure it's chatting, leave for an hour or two, come back and the phone is only at 73% and there's no indication the phone is charging (i.e. the battery icon doesn't have a lightening bolt on it). It does charge fast, however, when it works.

Doesn't work like you think out will

Packaging and advertisement on the box leads you to believe that this product will allow you to split your HDMI signal in such a way that will allow you to use an older receiver that doesn't support 3D, for example, with a tv or projector that is 3D capable. However, it doesn't. If you try to use it as previously described, the splitter will only output at the lowest resolution of the components running through it...meaning since the receiver is, in this case, the lowest resolution device, the splitter will pass through the sound, but there will only be an image of what the receiver is capable of displaying. In other words no 3D. If your receiver is only capable of 1080i resolution, then you can only have up to 1080i resolution. Very misleading....had to return.

My HDMI splitter not working
Don't know what I could be doing wrong. Its set up with my Denon receiver going in...and two ouputs: one to my HDTV and the other to my HD projector.
I've plugged and un-plugged. I've checked all the HDMI connections (all are high speed)..and all are plugged in correclty...Help!

If your Denon is older and isn't capable of passing a 1080p image, you'll only be able to produce an image at the highest resolution of what your Denon is capable of. So, if the Denon can only do 1080i, but your tv and projector are 1080p or higher, you'll have to change your settings on both your tv and projector to display 1080i. Otherwise, no picture.
