Nice Low-Cost Printer

I picked up this printer on sale for $50 before I was about to spend more than that on ink for my Canon printer.
The printer is easy to setup and the print quality is excellent for B&W. I haven't had a need to print a color image yet except when needing that for calibrating the printer but the quality should be fine for most people.
The Instant-Ink feature is a great idea which saves time and money based on your particular printing needs. Check out the HP web site for all the details.
The printer uses only 2 ink cartridges which is a lot better than my Canon which required 5 and went dry even after not using the color carts since I use mostly B&W.
If you're looking for a low-cost and low-maintenence printer, this should work great for most anybody's requirements.

Game Plays In Hyperdrive!

My review is only for the single-player campaign so please bear that in mind.
The campaign is definitely better than the first game and is surprisingly lengthy at about 8-10 hours, depending on how fast you want to complete the game but the graphical beauty will be missed. I played the game on an XBOX One X on a 1080p TV and can imagine how awesome it would look on a 4K TV.
Sometimes there is no time to take in the sights due to the frantic shootouts in space but it is still wonderful to see the fighters, ships and asteroids which need to be avoided so as to not crash into them. The planets look authentic and makes you think you're in a Star Wars movie.
There aren't many items to locate say as the Far Cry series but upgrades to weapons are made by finding crates or opening them after completing missions and serves the purpose. They can also be purchased with real money but the game is enjoyable enough as is without having to spend more.
There are other modes which I haven't tried yet such as an Arcade mode where you fight off the enemy on different planets and also a Starfighter assault mode which is similar.
The multiplayer is where the game's strength lies and there is a wide choice of characters to choose from. I wouldn't know how good the servers are not having played in multiplayer.
I wasn't going to get the game at first but Best Buy had a special deal so I took a chance and am glad that I did. It's not the deepest game like Fallout 4 but does provide the fun of being in a Star Wars setting. It's mostly based on use of the right weapon at the right time and the accuracy of your shooting. Your flying skills will also be tested and is exciting to be in space battles.
If you have EA Access on your XBOX, you can download a trial version to preview the game which starts at the beginning of the campaign. It costs $4.99 for a month if you just want to check out a few games at first or get a year's subscription for about $30 which gives access to a lot of great games for the money.

The Gears of War series is probably why a lot of gamers buy a XBOX console with myself being one of them.
I have played and own every one of the games which are great in their own unique style and story.
The graphics and sound are superb, especially when played on a XBOX One X. Controls are essentially the same as previous releases.
The story doesn't have quite the same "magic" like the first two games but does get better when Marcus Fenix gets back into the action.
The game I purchased had downable codes for Gears of War 1, 2, 3 and Judgement so that's five excellent games for the price of one! Just check the front cover for the info about the bonus games before buying.
A must-have for any Gears fan or Xbox owner!

I had never played a Sniper Elite game before purchasing this one and am really pleased with my choice.
The graphics are excellent especially on the PS4 Pro with the sound done equally well. The controls are smooth and easy to use.
The game world is large and provides plenty of missions to complete which will take some time. The replay value is moderate and can be used to locate items or objectives not previously located.
Stealth tactics and patience are a sniper's best traits and provide the best results but the enemy can be aggressive if you're discovered and then are forced to shoot it out with them until you can hide and wait until they stop looking for you.
Weapons can be upgraded but there are not a huge number of them to choose from. It takes a while before the better rifles and guns can be acquired but it is worth the effort.
One word of caution for parents of younger players: The "bullet-time" feature can be very graphic but can be turned off. It can also be set to come on occasionally.
This is a great game for any shooter's collection

Most PS4 owners have already played at least one of the Uncharted games before and should feel right at home with this one.
The graphics and sound are excellent as always with smooth controls.
There are more cutscenes than the previous games but they do make for an interesting insight into Nathan Drake's personal life and provide a little break from the action.
The game is fairly lengthy depending on how fast you want to complete the objectives and can solve the puzzles. I like taking my time to explore for the hiddent treasures and take in the beautiful surroundings and artwork whenever possible.
This game when combined with The Drake Collection and The Lost Legacy will provide gamers with some of the best video game entertainment available today.

The game features a very large map to explore with lots of objectives and side missions to complete. Graphics are superb with lots of attention to detail and the sound is equally great. Controls are smooth but do require a little practice for handling vehicles since each one has their own characteristics.
This is an open-world game but certain missions need to be completed first before moving on much like the Far Cry series. The game can be played in any style you choose but stealth tactics work best when initially taking on the enemy to reduce their numbers and so that no calls for help can be sent out. Patience and observation are your best friends!
I have only played the game in single player mode and the teammate's AI is reasonably good on their own but they work best when you give them commands.
A great addition to the Ghost Recon series!

Great Open-World Shooter!

I have recently just started playing the game so please bear that in mind when reading my rating and review.
The gameplay is similar to Far Cry 4 but with a different story line that has you as part of a team whose mission is to destroy a drug czar and his cartel.
The game can be played with any style like guns-a-blazing or a more stealthier method. Stealth tactics are recommended early in the game whenever possible because you will need upgraded weaponry for tougher enemies. It will take some time to get access to the better weapons so patience is required but will pay off with a better chance of success. The enemies can be very aggressive so it helps to try and thin them out before coming in for the cleanup.
There are a lot of missions and items to find which adds to the longevity of the game. Some reviewers complained about the gameplay getting repetitive but a lot of good games are like that. Also, the control of the cars and helicopter isn't too bad once you start using them more.
The drone is very easy to control and is great for locating and tagging enemies which your AI squad can take them out for you making things easier if you want.
I haven't played the game in multiplayer mode so I can't comment on that.
The game world is huge and beautiful to look at. The sound and graphics are excellent.
I wasn't sure if I was going to like this game at first but it became nore enjoyable after learning which tactics works best. It is a Ghost Recon game so stealth plays a big part in successful missions. Patience is the name of the game.

The Halo series is one the best for the Xbox and the Master Chief Collection has the first 3 halo games plus lots of goodies which have been remastered and look great on the XBOX One. You can also switch back to the original XBOX 360 graphics to see the difference which is actually still pretty good considering how long ago the games came out.
The story reads like a great sci-fi novel which carries over into the succeeding games. You don't have to play the games in sequence but it helps with understanding the storyline and controller mechanics for playing the game.
It's a must-have for any XBOX owner or first-person sci-fi shooter fan.

This has to be one of the best Action Adventure/RPG games on the PS4. It takes a little while to get used to the controls and combat functions but once that happens you will really enjoy the game.
There are no guns to speak of except later in the game but it's mostly a bow & arrow and spear which are upgraded as the game progresses in addition to various traps. More powerful weapons are a must since some of the beasts are tough to take down in addition to human enemies.
The game is similar to Far Cry Primal as to the basic mechanics and adventure portion but the difference is that you hunt down mechanical beasts instead of prehistoric animals.
The graphics and sound are top-notch with smooth-as-butter controls and gameplay. The game is lengthy and can take about 40 hours to get most of the tasks and errands completed before getting to the final boss battle.
It's a game that should be part of any PS4 library.

Most gamers are familiar with the Fallout series and Fallout 4 is a great game with plenty to do and see, especially with the GOTY edition which includes all of the available DLC. The standard edition also provides a lot of things to do, places to go, people to see, mutants to eliminate.
The GOTY version will be on sale for the 2017 Black Friday sale so that would be a good time to pick up the complete version which should keep you busy for a really long time.
