Season 8 is arguably the most mediocre season of the series. The show runners spent a lot of time building characters, notably Doomsday, which just dragged the show. Sam Witwer did a good job portraying Doomsday though.

The movie held true to the book series, but it kinda felt flat whereas the book was much more intense. Shaleine Woodley does an OK job portraying Tris but I didn't find myself rooting for her. Theo James really stole the spotlight in his breakout role playing the brooding hero, Four.
