Bought this for one of my 4 young nephews; he loves it. Sharp graphics, great sound and vivid colors. Got this one for the younger nephew (he'll probably break it before I finish typing this) and the oder ones got Amazon Fire 7"ers. But they liked this one better bcuz its a little larger, with what appear to be sharper graphics (in the eye of the beholder). Its light and ease to carry, and keeps youngins occupied for quite some time (added bonus)! Definitely worth the purchase.

Bought this for one of my 4 young nephews; he loves it. Sharp graphics, great sound and vivid colors. We played some racing game he got me hooked to (downloaded it on my phone, now my wife/daughter tease me about it. The price was more than fair, and I like the craftsmanship (compared to the Sero 7 Pro I own), its light and ease to carry, and keeps youngins occupied for quite some time (added bonus)! Definitely worth the purchase.

then you know what the story is about already. If not, you should find this to be a pretty good movie. I'd already read the comic 30 yrs ago, so the story wasn't new to me; with that said however, I love the art. TT and YJ are DC's best animated movies, with realistic movement in the way the characters are depicted, great action sequences, and excellent sound effects. DC is 2nd to none when it comes to their animated movies, as the characters and stories tend to be geared more toward adults and skew older regarding the intended audience, which is fine with me, as they end up being comics brought to life without the limitations of live-action feature films.
Its a movie I recommend for your blu-ray collection, and also recommend seeing. I've seen better from DC, but its no where near as bad as some of their more recent offerings.

Its pitch black at night; the only light is lens flares from the headlights of the surrounding vehicles that lance the darkness. Raylan Givens, outlaw lawman, is surrounded by armed enemies, all for the sake of rescuing a young teenage girl whose continuous rebellious nature and discordant old-soul behavior have placed her in mortal danger with those same armed enemies surrounding them. Raylan tells the armed goons the story of his childhood, tragic as it was, and how his father shaped/molded him with a firm back hand and even firmer disposition for correcting the perceived weakness in his son, making him shoot a defenseless animal; and he did, his aim even at that young age sure and true. An aim and skill that only sharpens and which he expertly masters over time, a story which he uses as a warning to the men surrounding them; to paraphrase: "I was good at shootin' before I ever went to GlenCo to train for it; that place just made me a better killer, and I'll kill 4 of ya before you draw your weapon, and i'll take my chances with the last 2..."
It is this scene, and this line, from this season, that sums up Raylan Givens. I didn't quote it verbatim; you need to see it for yourself, watch Timothy Olyphant's eyes in his performance, the tone of his voice, the lilt of his stance as his hand rests on his pistol grip, to get the full effect of how effortlessly TO portrays Raylan Givens in such a way as to embody the character the way few actors can with a role. He brings such gravitas and sinistry to the character that at times, you get the feeling Raylan being surrounded by armed men ready to draw is where he is most at ease, most like himself. In watching this series, and TO's portrayal throughout it, you can easily walk away from it believeing Raylan is one incident away from crossing a line he can never walk back from legally...but that's the beauty of the character and TO's portrayal of him, because you also come away realizing being a LAWman is the thing that keeps Ralyan Givens alive. If you haven't seen any of this series, watch all 6 seasons; if you have, I urge you to buy the whole series; I just completed my purchase of all 6 seasons on blu ray, and soon I will start binge-watching them all over again; there are few episodic television shows that are iconic: Miami Vice, NYPD Blue, The Shield to name a few; Justified joins the short pantheon of seminal tv series worth investing both time/money in collecting and viewing. It's must see TV at its finest!

Culmination of a masterpiece!

How do you define greatness? The word alone doesn't do this series justice, and there aren't enough superlatives to justify (/w!) the excellency of this series. When it aired, I never missed an episode; since its left TV, I made it a mission to get the entire series, and completed my effort with this purchase. I have all 6 seasons, and plan to re-watch every last one of them. Many actors have seminal roles, signature characters that they play/portray that make it difficult to distinguish them from the character, and Timothy Olyphant as Raylan Givens exemplifies this in his portrayal of Elmore Leonard's outlaw lawman. Olyphant wears Ralyan Givens character as comfortably as RG wear's his stetson and his side arm, neither of which is removed unless its time for serious business! The suppporting cast, no matter the season, are always able to rise to the occasion and provide equally rich, complex and engaging foils, family members and contemporaries. Again, I can't say enough, or speak highly enough about the series as a whole, and season 6 specifically; it's a must have for any collection, and must see for anyone interested in TV done right!

This series is go good, i'm upset this is the last season (NOTE: I know about Project Dawn). I know the lead actors are both on their own network shows now, but I would hope some day they will reprise these roles, or at the very least the show will return in some format. This is a show that never should have ended, but it was fun while it lasted!

I like the new star trek movies; never was a fan of the william shatner-starring ones, but loved the JJ Abrams rebooted-ones. Alas, this one felt phoned in; the previous 2 kept raising the bar on stakes, story line, humor, special effects, etc. But this one just seemed like more of the same, like another episode in the tv series, which it could have been. There's nothing special about this one; no new character developments, no new reveals regarding Starfleet, yes, there are new species, but they are more just there to be new/different rather than us getting any background on them enough to care about them. Just OK; they need to find the passion again for this franchise as this movies comes across as a contractual obligation by the actors/production company than a passion project.
