This movie is perplexing and definitely not for everyone. It is a surrealist art house film posing as a modern tale of vanity and...vampirism? Not a whole lot of extras, but the audio commentary w/ director and Elle Fanning sounds worth a listen.

Not as good as early Alice Glass-era CC but a serviceable substitute for the original band breaking up. A few standout tracks but nothing extraordinary as in I or II. Buy on vinyl for extra bonus track.
If you like the seductive showbiz rise and downfall structure of films like Boogie Nights and Magic Mike then this film is right up your alley. Barebones features loses a star for me, however.
This release compiles all episodes from the debut season of The Girlfriend Experience, an anthology series that explores the relationships between female escorts and their clients, which is not all about the sex.
Taut and riveting new series from the brainchild of Steven Soderbergh, Lodge Kerrigan, & Amy Seimetz. Barebones features lowers the star rating for me. Binged the entire series in two days, its that tightly constructed. The half hour running time always leaves you wanting more.
Bad Boys I and II are featured in this special digitally enhanced collection. Former video director Michael Bay had his first big hit with the 1995 action comedy, which also returned producers Jerry Bruckheimer and Don Simpson to the big-budget, high-violence movies that they successfully churned out in the '80s. Mike Lowrey (Will Smith) and Marcus Burnett (Martin Lawrence) are two Miami cops who watch as 100 million dollars in heroin, from the biggest drug bust of their careers, is stolen out of the basement of police headquarters. This puts them hot on the trail of French drug lord Fouchet (Tchéky Karyo), who leaves a trail of bodies in his wake and only one witness, Julie Mott (Téa Leoni), who quickly teams up with our heroes. In the 2003 sequel, Burnett and Lowrey have been assigned to head up a task force to investigate the illegal trafficking of ecstasy into the city. They discover that an underground gang war has been instigated by drug kingpin Johnny Tapia (Jordi Molla). In order to cut off the flow of the designer drug, they have to take down Tapia.
Brilliant auto double dip to require you to purchase Bad Boys I with Bad Boys II. I wouldn't have been so angry if Bad Boys were substantially better quality in video, audio, and/or special features but it is the exact same disc as the original release.
This movie looks beautiful, gorgeous cinematography. Unfortunately the script is sorely lacking, there's long stretches of meandering silence and avante-garde movie-isms.
Just when you thought Season One blew your mind, Season Two takes you to outer space. The only thing missing here is a plethora of extras, but Season One blu ray was lacking that as well so there's some consistency.
