purchased may 2015--used the fryer 8 or 10 times. It doesn't reach & hold temps very well--but it was okay for the task I used it for (french fries and two batches of fried chicken).

what prompts this review was an attempt to use it last night. It is dead. Gone. The unit will not light up. Pressed reset button. Nothing. What a lousy product. It did not quite last one year. Should have purchased extended warranty. Harumph.
