OK. Had to buy a dedicated mic because I was previously using a mic that was integrated into my headphones. Realized that it had the odd effect of making the volume of my voice low, then gradually increasing as the PowerPoint slide progressed. I had to make deadline, so I went to the local BB and picked this up. Easy to use, plug-and-play, and records voice very clearly with no volume drops or builds. Just right for the price I paid, and did everything I needed it to!

Ah, the 80's! This is one of the soundtracks of my life--the lone little geek playing Atari (or Commodore 64) games, radio playing in the background--or vinyl LP. Great music, nonthreatening, suitable for all listeners, toe-tapping. . . it still holds up through the angst!

Good all-purpose computer

Overall a good computer. Not necessarily one for the gamers, but can accommodate those who want to do a little casual gaming online. If you want something for school, a little surfing, and waching a few videos or playing some simpler online games, this is the one. If you want to play complex hi-res fast-moving shooters--well, you'd better look elsewhere, I'm sure there are a lot of companies willing to take your money.
Only complaint is the lack of a good office software package (I find Lenovo's software to be a bit lacking, and you still have to pay for full versions).

Can it handle games well?
I want to get a new desktop thats great for work but can also handle games so i can play them on my free time
Really depends on what kind of games, I would say. If you're hitting sites like Kongregate or Armor Games, it should be fine. If you want some other sort of hi-res fast-paced shooter, might have to look more toward a gamer-oriented computer.
