Bought this for my 2013 Nissan Xterra and kept in the stock speakers. It sounds great. Worked right away after installation. Doesn't seem to be a problem with the mic either (as long as you put it somewhere decent). Only problems I've had are sometimes my iPod doesn't sync up just right, but unplugging the device and plugging it back in usually does the trick.
