does it have vent built in?
It has two metal plates that can be cut out so that it can vent through a hole in the wall behind the unit, or out the top front of the unit. The fan has two screws that are taken out and the fan is switched accordingly.

Thank you for the response however, you did not answer the question.
You only repeated what is stated online at best buy. How does the microwave attach? Where does the mounting bracket go? On the wall or does the unit attach to the oven?
There is a paper template that is taped to the wall. Then a metal strip about one inch wide is attached to the wall. The microwave slips into this bracket at the bottom. Then screws are drilled through the top of a cabinet that is above this. Holes must be drilled beforehand. I don't know if there is a way to hang it without the top cabinet. I know it does not attach to the oven though.

It will have better picture quality with an HDMI cord, but you have to check to make sure your TV has the hdmi ports. That being said, it does come with the standard yellow, white, red audio video cable.

my hard drive is half used up. how much time and effort required to watch movies from external drive on macbook pro?
I down load movies to my seagate in approximately 2 minutes per movie. Then it takes about 30 seconds to plug it in later and watch. Very easy interface: drag and drop to download, double click to open. Also it works between PC and Mac.

IS IT COMPATIBLE WITH DELL INSPIRON LAPTOP?
I have used it on a MacBook pro, hp elite book, and an older dell I have. I would think it would. I have had trouble with other brands(WD harddrives)
