This cable works on some laptops but not others. The one it didn't work on was a HP Zbook 15. I think it is because the machine isn't broadcasting the correct sync signal (through HDMI) for the DP monitor. Therefore, I can't blame the cable. We have had similar problems with HPs in the past.

Nice upgrade from my old tracker

I really like this activity tracker. It is quite a bit more accurate than my old Jawbone UP. The one feature I wish it had on the wrist display would be a battery meter. You have to use the bluetooth connection to detect battery charge. And then it is a rough estimate. Other than that I really like it.

No, that isn't S-video. The red and white are left and right audio. The yellow is composite video.
