Overall this is an good TV and I appreciate that LG's WebOS is open source; however, there are several specific issues which were disappointing to me:
1. The remote control is missing many features required to inter-operate with an Xfinity set top box (for example, there are many missing buttons that are required to record, playback, control channels, etc.) .
2. Voice recognition was very unreliable - the voice server was down much of the time. Voice recognition supports just a few of the features required by Xfinity. Consequently I had to use both remotes to fully operate both the TV and cable set top box. A couple of voice commands caused the set top box and the TV to both try to display different versions of the same feature - causing confusion.
3. The web browser will not stream flash. You can not stream from Xfinity or other websites that require a flash plugin. However, you can stream YouTube videos by using a built-in app.
4. I experienced several issues while using the Wifi connection which made web connectivity unreliable. I was forced to run a Cat 6 to the TV to improve access. Even with a direct connection, a speed test indicated that the maximum download speed was 25 Mbps and 3 Mbps up. A computer on the same connection shows 120 Mbps down and 25 Mbps up.
5. The field of view was too narrow for everyone to see.
LG said they may fix some of these issues in a later firmware upgrade.
