Better than factory but......

Ok, So these went into my son's S-10. The factory door speakers are the typical garbage paper cone speakers. Now these were only 50 bucks, So I wasn't expecting much and that's exactly what I got. Yes being that they are 3 way the highs are more defined, however the lows are seriously lacking. All you can squeeze from these is a whole lot of highs and upper mids. Not bad for 50 bucks, but really should be paired with a micro sub.

Am I obligated to use the built in speakers or is there a way of turning them off on the monitor menu so that I can continue to use the Logitech speakers I currently have connected to the monitor I am planning on replacing? Thank you in advance..
Yes of course rather than use HDMI audio use your audio out jack. Click the little volume icon by your clock, then the little down arrow and make sure it is not on HDMI audio
