Needed for HD TV set up

I needed this cable per my son to complete the install of a Samsung 3D Smart HD TV. I also purchased a Sony sound bar with sub woofer & a power surge protector, HDMI cable. There's a slight chance this cable was used with the sound bar. My son did the entire install with ease & parts were all over the place so I can't be sure. There was a small thin cable that resembled this included with the TV or Sound bar, can't remember, but again, per my son, this one was better quality. I believe it was fairly inexpensive as well.

A good investment for an HD TV

I purchased a Samsung 3D Smart HD TV. This HDMI cable is definitely a must buy product. This is the middle quality one I believe. There are $20.00 HDMI cables but my son is a computer wiz & big time gamer. He has Xbox One & said he wants this cable for his machine. I followed his advise cuz he spends every free moment on his computer & games. He installed everything in less then an hour & knew just as much about the entire Best Buy store as the saleman.

I live in an area where we get a lot of power outages. When you purchase an expensive TV & sound bar, it would be a shame to have it die after your 2nd power outage. This power surge protector is designed to last through multiple power outages protecting your expensive computer or TV investments. Personallyy, I would not go without it & I'm a frugal person. There are cheaper ones, but I'd make sure you ask questions if going that route.

I purchased A Samsung 60 inch 3D smart TV & lucky for me, my son is a computer, TV & gaming wiz. I brought him to Best Buy for my purchase & left my husband home. My son knew more as much if not more then the salesman about the entire store. He insisted on buying the sound bar & I am very happy that I gave in. These TVs are not like the older ones, if you want to feel like you are in a movie theater invest in a sound bar with a sub woofer. Especially if you are into action adventure movies. You will not be sorry.
