I went with the 39 inch insignia at 179.99 from best buy. for the size, the price is lower than any I've been following. it was for my 95 year old mom. we are both blown away with the HD. we had an analog toshiba...so that's my comparative base. bahaha.
an outstanding action film. just the right amount of snark and oddball characters that mesh together to save the world. unbelievable cast but grounded in unison. an homage to that throwback film where prisoners are forced to fight or die. an update, and an upgrade for the modern generation.
Add sci-fi flair to any space with this Funko Pop! Princess Leia figurine. It functions as a bobblehead, with full movement of the iconic head of the princess. The compact size and recognizable style of this Funko Pop! Princess Leia figurine make it a good gift for any collector of Star Wars memorabilia.
I thought this was retired or vaulted so I was surprised to find it at best buy, especially considering carrie fisher passed away. I loved the original star wars films, and find the others all lacking in character developement and plot lines. she is a wonderful author as well. glad to have this in my collection. thanks!
I don't normally care for sequels as it seems like a money grab. but this furthers the story of our undersea friends and tells a good story with a good moral at the end. I was fearful of the "memory" loss of the main character, that it would be so repetative as to detract from the movie. it was handled well and not milked for laughs. it was great.
The complete fourth season of the present-day adaptation of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's imitable Sherlock Holmes crime drama series. Benedict Cumberbatch stars as the titular detective who cracks various crime cases for the Metropolitan Police Service in London alongside his sidekick Doctor John Watson (Martin Freeman). The award-winning adaptation is a collaboration between the BBC and PBS, and the fourth season features guest star Toby Jones as one of Sherlock's many adversaries.
love the chemistry and dysfunction between the two leads. storyline advances their relationship amid interesting cases. do invest in this dvd season, it may be the last time these two fine actors are involved. true to past storyline and progression of the deterioration and redemption of their relationship. not one false note. not one.
she has major talent. a bit eccentric for some but she sure has a set of pipes everyone can appreciate. a flair for the dramatic rendering of a song, but I enjoyed this effort.
gifted artist and performer. reinvention continues. there will never be the success that she had with fame monster cd and that persona. but she continues to use her voice in new ways. youtube her tribute to Julie Andrews. now that's the voice she really has. but she is attracted to pop music, so this effort is alright.
This release features all sixteen episodes from the sixth season of the AMC smash hit series The Walking Dead, following Rick Grimes' (Andrew Lincoln) attempts to lead the survival of humans amidst the zombie apocalypse in Alexandria, Virginia. Norman Reedus, Steven Yeun, and Chandler Riggs co-star in the pulse-pounding season six, as more survivors are discovered and the viability of the Alexandria community comes into question.
love stephen king. he doesn't translate well to the screen sometimes. this focus on JFK was engaging even though james franco is certainly not a favorite actor. the book was better. but this was a good effort.
