The original 75 issue comic book run is way more edgy and violent than this version of the bizarre world of Preacher, but this show is a great intro to it. You don't need to read the comics to enjoy this, but man is it fun to see this world come alive in this show. The great casting of the actors in this is pure genius.

There is a lot more to this than a woman and a fish. This is basically a closed loop that is about how to get out of it...Nancy (Blake Lively) needs to get by the shark , safely to the shore. This movie is the antithesis of its title...I hope you find your own nails tasty.

This film has a heart and a soul. If I have one caveat about this, it is Ben Foster, I didn't buy his performance. The big surprise was Paula Patton, she totally sold me on her character's conflicts. The Orc's culture and the humans of Azeroth are given great nuance...good drama makes you pull for both sides. Don't believe the nay sayers...go to Azeroth.

Action (and Tension) is back and bigger

The action and hero banter are what make these Marvel films fun. The insinuation of elements that connect to other Marvels down the line story and film wise, also ratchet up tensions and expectations. Spiderman crossed over from another studio and the X-pectations are high for some characters from another studio to do the same in other Marvel films down the line.

The lead actors, Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga are back and this investigation in England proves that this series will be around for some more investigations. I might not agree with the religious elements in these films, but, I definitely enjoy them on a strictly visceral level. The best thing about this is the action figure and mini-hardcover of Joker stories [not Alan Moore's Killing Joke!]. Stupid first half makes some changes to Batgirl's character that are not in the Moore/Bolland graphic novel. Second half is pretty close to the source material, which I highly recommend reading to cleanse your minds pallet after viewing this

This big novel deserved to be a mini-series

Having the room to tell the whole story of Jack Epping's trip to 1963 is what made this great to watch. At first I wasn't thrilled with James Franco getting this role, but he proved me wrong, and Sarah Gadon as his love interest had the goods too, they made Jack & Sadie's romance real. Over all this is one of the best adaptions of a Stephen King's book.

Does the kitchen timer work when the microwave is working
It's very useful to use the timer on the microwave to keep track of something else you are timing. So many don't do this and for me, it's a critical feature.
Yes it does and I use it to time boiled eggs and other stove top tasks, however be near your kitchen to hear it when it goes off, it is not loud enough to be heard all over a house or large apartment.

Noise
I just purchased this microwave. It is quite noisy and rattles when it starts up. Is this normal??
The magnetron that generates the microwaves in ANY microwave oven is always going to generate sound. The rattle is something else, perhaps the motor for rotation platter is faulty. My unit works great and has no rattle at start up or even later. You might want to get it exchanged.
