I live in Merced CA. My daughter lives and dies by her sippy cup so I finally put a Tile on the bottom. Not once has the crowd feature ever found the cup and sometimes even feet away the Tile loses connection. I tested some of the Tiles by leaving them in cars and reporting them lost but even after 2 days of being driven around the city none were found. I left one in my kids backpack at school and on a trip to Madera CA with no great success. I have a Tile sport in my wallet and have had similar issues.

I have two big complaints. 1) this unit only has one hdmi out and digital audio out. There is no easy way/cheap way to get better audio without receiver. 2) the available apps don't make using this unit as a radio easy. Yup have to log in and type with the DVD remote. My wifi isn't always found either.

The smelly friend that won't leave you stranded

This phone promise a lot of smartness and tries to deliver at a budget price; shhhh! I have some buyers remorse.
Battery is pretty darn good. I left it on airplane mode untoched till I got a case 8 days later and it had approximately 16% battery left.
Dual camera, hooray!?! It seems average, not fast or sharp. The depth of focus hasn't impressed me enough to stop using a stand -alone Sony a6000 with manual lens.
You say "ok, of course it won't beat a stand alone camera bokha." Well Motorola sure makes the sub $400 g5s sound like it could. The pictures tend to have a sharp center of focus and a ring of blur around it. Maybe I just need more practice, a different app or adjustment.
No case selection....I mean even Amazon only has a handful. Best buy even sold me the wrong one which isn't confidence inspiring in them or the support level of the G5S Plus.

All my complaints really don't feel justified because price was awesome. I would have liked the unit to feel less plastic.....But its plastic.
A timer or thermostat would have been nice...
Just FYI the unit needs the full 120volts. My breaker box popped and went to 80volts making the unit almost lifeless.

Good audio soultion...Not great

I am not sure why Sony leaves out what seems like no-brainer options. I bought this for my A6000 because there is no built in mic input.
The main down side to this sound soultion is the lite hiss of sound auto gain. If auto gain could be turned off this would be almost perfect.
It is nice to get sound from farther away.
The switches do seem to be fragile and in my review search many people has the same issues.

I have a Canon HV30 that needed FireWire to get the video off, otherwise I was stuck with composite and finding some random gadget that could rip video. The C875 is the best and smoothest soultion I have found yet.
I basically popped the device out of the box, plugged it into a portable USB battery, plugged the HDMI cable from my camera to the c875 input, popped a memory card, pressed play on the camera and started the recorder.
The file came out as a . Ts file, but if you go to the support site there is a program that converts .TS files to .Mpg4 and it works. Mind you I haven't used this product more than a day. So far I'm impressed. It kept me from throwing out the camera and there seems to be a ton of options.
So far my only complaints are that I called support and left a message asking about if my camera would be supported and got no response.
The other issue that may be camera related is the video is not sharp on my 55" TV.... Don't get me wrong I can live with it, just noticeable.

Good for moniter for a short hall.
Vehicle plate in direct line of sight was unreadable from 20' feet away during daylight.
Camera playback from my Moto x 2nd gen 2014 would not work. The picture stayed live.
The power plugs are big so they block outlets on power strips with close connections.
Mounting screws strip way to easy.
Focus can't be adjusted -not that I can find.
Camera view is narrow and has a gap close up, which means you can't mount it close to the side of a door to catch peoples faces.

If I have this tracker on my child, will the app alert me when she is pass a certain distant away from me/my cell phone/the app?
No. It will just say the last position. Some other trackers have this feature. I think the Chipotle has it.
