This is the second of two Galaxy S8 phones purchased. My wife loves it. It's a larger screen than the old Galaxy S4's we had but much better quality images and having a little larger screen is great. We've had no problems with either phone and would definitely buy again. Glad we waited so long for upgrade because this is a great phone.

Takes a little getting used to new OS because of upgrade from the old Galaxy S4 but overall I'm very happy with the phone. I thought the curved edges might be a problem but I've experienced no issues with anything accidentally happening when touch the edge.

The shield slowed the response of the phone and at times didn't even respond. Often had to push hard instead of just a simple swipe to get menus and apps to open. Best Buy had no problem swapping out for the next level down shield (more of a film than glass). The tech said there was probably an air pocket that formed under the shield. Since this happened on two phones that had the shield applied the same day I feel it's more of a product defect. I wouldn't recommend it unless you are very prone to dropping your phone.
