great value for the price

Superb build quality , but not a lens for most hand held shooting as it is very heavy. I am looking at a gimbal head to improve wildlife tracking with this lens. So far image quality has been quite good , and at this price it allows the serious amateur to get those long shots much less costly than an L cannon lens of 600mm .
