Had a dead area in my basement. All my other network gear is Cisco/Linksys, and I considered sticking with the same product line. The Netgear's specs were compatible, and I needed something with a wired ethernet port, and the price was right, so I bought it. Got home, plugged it in, hit the button to get it added to the network, and just like that I'm working from the basement. Getting the same throughput as the Linksys range extender in the kitchen. Phones and laptops connect to it with no effort. Haven't had to touch it since. Almost too easy, like the title says.

Struggled over the years with the immediacy of terrible cell phone pictures vs. the delay of pictures from a good camera. i would bring a camera to sporting events, family events, etc. and take good pictures. But 5 minutes later I'd hear something like "oh, Billy, what a great shot you just put on Instagram!" and see some grainy, poorly framed, out-of-focus picture. Almost gave up shooting anything but nature and scenery.
This card has brought new energy to my photography. I'm still going to do some post-processing to most of my photos before posting them, but if I get a particularly good shot of little Susie setting the volleyball, I can use the time in between sets to post the photo somewhere of just text it to little Susie's mom. And some of the worst shots I take (or anybody takes, not saying I'm some super-photographer) with a real camera are better than the best cell phone snapshots.
Downside: Transfer is a little slow. I find myself scrolling through the app on my phone trying to find the one or two that I wanted to use immediately and getting messed up when the next couple of photos are transferred and the screen jumps. But once they're on the phone, you get the same options for text, Facebook, email, Instagram as any other photo.
Another downside might be operator error. The app imports all the pictures on my phone. Don't know for sure if it's duplicating them. I'm afraid to delete them because I might be deleting the original. No real help on-line for this.
Third downside is deleting. In the digital age, we take a lot of pictures because once you buy the storage, it's basically free. So instead of shooting 5 rolls of 36 exposure film for 180 total shots, we take 300, 400, 1000 shots knowing we can delete them. Getting them off of the main album page on the app is time consuming. Maybe I'm just supposed to filter and not worry about the old ones? But then I'd run out of space on my phone. My solution has been to mount the phone up as a drive on my PC and delete the files in bulk that way.
All-in-all, I really like the real-time publishing ability this card has given me. Outweighs the downsides by far.

Bought a new camera, needed to make sure I had a second battery for it. Used it on day 2 of a tournament when my first battery was running low. Kept me going for the rest of the day. Haven't really charged and completely used it up at this point to really give any details about number of shots or how long it lasts with and without flash.

I've been switching between this and a 70-200 f/2.8 lens for volleyball photography. The f1/8 aperture lets in a ton of light, and really allows me to adjust other settings to get the shot I want (freezing the ball, for instance). I need to do a little editing afterwards to crop some of the photos to focus on the subject. And compared to the 70-200 f2/8, this lens is light as a feather!

At the same time as I upgraded to a 5D Mk III, I purchased this lens. I had previously rented one to use with my previous camera. I've recently started shooting volleyball. Fast motion, poor indoor lighting. This lens lets in enough light that now I am able to tweak shutter speed and ISO to get pretty much the shot I want. "Pretty much" because I'm an amateur and still have a lot to learn. The range of telephoto seems to be pretty close to perfect. From the side of the court, I can get a server completely in the picture (as long as the player is not right next to me) and from the end of the court, I can get reasonably tight into the back row defensive players on the other end (when I can get them lower than the net). Focus seems fast enough, but with a fast sport like vb, I tend to lock on to a particular player for a play and stay with her.

Finally made the jump to full frame after shooting crop sensor for years. Previous camera was getting old, and as I started moving into volleyball photography, it wasn't cutting it. Read several reviews here, got some advice from other photographers, listened to several podcasts, and decided on this camera. Perfect for me, I think. I'm an amateur, still have a lot to learn about light, exposure, sensitivity, etc. At first, I found the controls a little confusing. Probably because I've been using essentially the same camera for a while. Getting used to the new controls, and I'm realizing that they are all in pretty smart locations once I figured them out.
Easily video chat with loved ones with this Logitech 960-000715 high-definition webcam that enables video calling and recording in up to 720p resolution and features a built-in microphone with RightSound technology for sharp audio capture.
A few months ago, my 13-year-old daughter and some of her friends started skyping and some other stuff using video (don't recall which service) to work together on homework, to plan their get-togethers, and to just generally mess around. The camera built into the laptop worked, but her friends said the picture was really grainy. I went to Best Buy, spent about 10 minutes comparing cameras, and bought this one. She definitely didn't need some high-end expensive camera.
Positive: Nice picture. Her friends say that her video is the best of the group. Easy set up. Basically, we plugged it in and it worked.
Negatives: Folding z-shaped clip to hold it on to the laptop lid isn't very strong, so it sometimes gets loose enough to fall off. We had a couple of situations where the laptop stopped recognizing the camera. So far, I haven't been able to troubleshoot whether this is a problem with the camera or the laptop.
Another positive: 13-year-old daughter is very happy with it!
Linksys EA6900 AC1900 Dual-Band Smart Router: This router is great for bandwidth-heavy uses like streaming video and online gaming. It has 3 external antennas to expand the range of the wireless network, and beamforming technology sends a focused signal to your connected devices to maintain a stronger connection.
I had to trade in my old LinkSys router because I couldn't use it to get our new TV connected for Netflix, etc. Switching up from my old rock-solid LinkSys router to this new LinkSys router seemed like an easy choice. Installation went pretty well, and I got the new TV connected. My family can now watch Netflix from our family room.
Downside - My printer, which sits about 10 feet from the router, has lots ot trouble getting connected. Rebooting it a couple of times usually works. Sometimes, the only thing I can do is reboot the router. Our phones connect easily enough, but occasionally drop the connection so we don't know we're using cellular data. And quite often, if I reboot the router, the phones do not automatically reconnect (they reconnect fine if we leave the house and come back) and we have to go into the Wi-Fi settings (Android and iPhones) to turn wireless off and back on again to reconnect.
Problem with the router? I assume so, because we never had these problems with the old LinkSys. But life with two kids being what it is, I didn't get an opportunity to bring it back for an exchange until the 30 days ran out.
But, hey - we can watch Netflix in the family room now, so it's not all bad.
