Big sound from the subwoofer and sound bar are an improvement from TV speakers alone. Does improve movie watching experience but it is a little more pricey versus other sound solutions. If price isn't a concern this is a great solution for you. Very simple to wall mount the sound bar.

One HDMI input problem solved

Had an HDTV that I originally bought for one of my kids. When they moved out I moved that TV to my man cave. I realized the TV had only one HDMI input but I wanted to hook up three hi-def inputs, a cable box, a DVD player, and an Xbox. This switch saved me from needing to buy a new TV with more inputs ports. I don't see any diminishment in picture quality from any inputs selected.

Signal strength an issue no more

I live in a two story house with a basement which is where the cable enters the house. Signal strength was sometimes an issue for my digital cable boxes. With the addition of this signal booster the signal strength to the upstairs cable boxes is no longer an issue. A word of caution, I did not hook up my cable modem to this amplifier so I can't guarantee it will not affect cable internet performance.
